Description

The invention relates to a door lock with lock cylinder which can be operated from the inside and outside, by means of whose lock bit a partial pinion can be driven, which is in drive connection with at least one displaceable locking bar via at least one toothed wheel and a toothed rack. A door lock of this type has become known, for example, from FR-A-1 190878. Because the key is turned by at least 360 ° when locking and unlocking and the partial pinion, as its name suggests, only has teeth on part of its circumference, it is coupled with this previously known door lock with two intermediate pinions arranged at a lateral distance from one another, one of which then the one transmits the rotary motion to the gearwheel alone when the other is just in the area of the gap of the partial pinion. The spacing of these intermediate pinions must be observed very precisely and this inevitably leads to an expensive, sensitive and fault-prone gear construction. In addition, these two intermediate pinions mean considerable additional effort, which makes the construction of this door lock even more expensive. Added to this is the space required for these intermediate pinions, which can lead to an enlargement of the door lock. Furthermore, the use of a door lock with a commercially available profile cylinder with a conventional lock bit is at least problematic.

In another known lock (US-A-4 037 440) the installation of a full sprocket is proposed, but this cannot be easily used when using a double locking cylinder, which is absolutely necessary for a door lock that can be operated from the inside and outside . In addition, such a lock with full pinion requires an opening in the lock case corresponding to the pinion diameter and an approximately equally large recess in the door leaf.

This must then be covered again by a handle rosette, which turns out to be relatively large, so that overall a high expenditure of material and a weakening of the lock case and door leaf in the area of the lock are the result.

The object of the invention is consequently seen in developing a door lock of the type mentioned in such a way that a double-acting locking cylinder with a conventionally shaped housing can be used without the changes to the lock case or door leaf being necessary, the door lock being of simple design in the area of the locking cylinder and robust construction.

To achieve this object, it is proposed according to the invention that the door lock of the type mentioned is characterized in that all teeth of the partial pinion correspond in shape and size to the lock bit of the lock cylinder and form a complete pinion together with the lock bit.

Another solution of the invention results in such a door lock in that the lock bit is designed as at least two pinion teeth and it supplements the partial pinion to a complete pinion.

Both solutions allow the arrangement of the partial pinion in the middle of the lock cylinder, i. H. at the point where the lock bit is located in a double lock cylinder. Since in addition to its normal function, the lock bit also takes on the task of at least one pinion frame, the partial pinion can interact directly with the gear, so that intermediate pinions are not required. Nevertheless, as with any locking cylinder, you can turn the key through a full 360 ° at least once. Advantageously, the lock cylinder can be installed and removed just as easily as any conventional lock cylinder. No changes due to the lock cylinder are necessary on the lock case, and the door leaf can also be prepared in a known manner for the installation of this door lock. The construction is light, robust and inexpensive to manufacture due to the restriction to a minimum number of gears.

The first variant has the advantage that a completely unchanged locking cylinder can be used by adapting the pinion teeth to the shape of the locking bit. However, because the width of the lock bit is less than the thickness of the flat part of the lock cylinder, a bridging link is required for a positive connection of the pinion and the lock bit on both sides of the latter. If, according to a further development of the invention, the partial pinion is connected to the locking bar with the interposition of a sleeve-like intermediate link, the intermediate link having two bridging links arranged on both sides of the locking bar, this results in a simple and stable construction which enables this positive connection.

In the second variant, a specially designed lock bit is used, the teeth of which, in contrast to the first embodiment, can be freely selected in terms of their shape, so that instead of the special toothing, conventional gear teeth can be used for the partial pinion as well as the gear and the rack . With the exception of this special lock bit, however, this lock cylinder can be of conventional design, so that it is hardly more expensive than a commercially available lock cylinder.

In the first embodiment in particular, the repair or a possible retrofit of an existing lock is particularly easy because you can use commercially available locking cylinders everywhere. Another advantage of both constructions is that they can be installed in an outer door which has a fixed knob or the like on the outside and a conventional handle on the inside. Nevertheless, opening with the key is possible from the outside as well as from the inside. If the lock is released from the lock latch, you can also open the door from the inside with the handle. According to a requirement for external doors, however, opening from the outside is only possible with the key.

A further embodiment of the second variant provides that the lock bit width corresponds to the width of the lock cylinder at this point and the lock bit is positively coupled to the slid-on partial pinion. This embodiment therefore makes the use of bridging members or a sleeve-like intermediate member unnecessary, because this special lock bit is automatically coupled without lost motion after the locking cylinder has been inserted into the door lock. By eliminating the intermediate member, a cost saving is achieved, so that this door lock does not come as a whole, in spite of the increased production costs for the special lock bit, than that according to the first embodiment. On the other hand, you can install this lock cylinder in a conventional door lock.

Further advantageous configurations of these two door lock constructions with a key-operated lock cylinder result from the following description of the drawing.

The door lock 1 according to the invention is installed in a door leaf 2 in a conventional manner. His lock latch 3 can be withdrawn with the help of an inside handle 4. On the outside 5 of the door leaf 2 there is a fixed outside button 6 instead of a handle. Both on the inside and outside, a key can be inserted into the lock cylinder 7, so that the door lock can be locked from both sides. In addition, the lock latch 3 can be unlocked in a known manner not only with the help of the inside handle 4, but also the key. The lock latch engages in a known striking plate of the diaphragm frame, not shown. According to the invention, the door 2 can now not only be locked with the frame via the lock latch 3, which can even be omitted due to the special design of this door lock, but rather is locked with the frame by means of a plurality of locking pins 8. These are on one in the direction of the double arrow 9 slidably mounted, outside by a faceplate 10 covered locking bar 11 attached. They interact with striking plates or the like, not shown, on the frame.

This up and down or locking and unlocking movement is generated by turning a key, not shown, inserted into the locking cylinder 7. According to the invention, the lock bit of the locking cylinder 7 is part of a pinion or is coupled to a pinion which is operatively connected to a toothed rack 12, the toothed rack or at least one thrust member connected thereto being designed as a displaceable locking bar 11. In a first embodiment of the invention, in which the lock bit of the lock cylinder is part of a pinion, all pinion teeth 13 are designed in shape and size in accordance with the lock bit 14, which forms one of the pinion teeth (FIG. 4). Another variant of the invention provides that the lock bit 15 is given a special shape and is designed as a pinion segment which, after being fitted onto a partial pinion 16, is supplemented to form an entire pinion 17. The width 18 of this locking bar 15 corresponds to the width of the locking cylinder 7 at this point. As a result, the locking cylinder 7 can be pushed onto the partial pinion 16, as seen perpendicular to the image plane (FIG. 6). The inner contour 19 of the partial pinion corresponds to the cross-sectional shape of the locking cylinder 7 insofar as it is overlapped. As a result, a positive locking coupling of the locking bar 15 takes place simultaneously with the pushing out of the locking cylinder. For this reason, the rotation of the key and thus also of the locking bar 15 results in a rotary movement of the pinion 17.

Because the conventionally designed lock bit 14 (FIG. 4) is narrower than the width 18 of the lock cylinder 7 at this point, in the variant shown in FIG. 4 there must be a sleeve-like part between the lock bit 14 and the pinion part 20 designed as a pinion with a missing tooth Intermediate member 21 are switched. Whose two bridging members 22 and 23 create the positive connection to the pinion part 20. The pinion of the variant shown in FIG. 4 is designated by 24.

To facilitate the assembly of the lock cylinder 7 is located inside the lock box 25, for example made of plastic, in particular cup-shaped guide bushing 26, into which the partial pinion is inserted and which facilitates the insertion of the locking cylinder. The pinion 17 or 24 of the lock cylinder 7 is coupled to the rack 12 via at least one intermediate wheel 27, but preferably via a reduction gear 28. The gear ratio is preferably about 1: 8. A double turn of the key consequently causes a quarter turn of the gear 29 or the coaxial pinion 30 connected to it in a rotationally fixed manner. The latter is in engagement with the rack 12. In addition, the teeth of the gear 29 also mesh with that of a further pinion 32, which is arranged coaxially to the intermediate gear 27, the teeth of which engage those of the pinion 17 or 24.

The toothed rack 12 is connected to the locking rod 11, which consists of two parts, via a drive rod 33 which can be pushed in the lock case 25. One part of the locking bar is above and the other below the lock latch 3. As already explained, the locking bar 11 carries the locking pins 8, which penetrate corresponding openings 34 in the faceplate 10. These are shaped as long slots in a known manner. Furthermore, in a manner not shown, the free, upward or downward ends of the locking bar 11 can be designed as locking members which can be locked or unlocked in corresponding locking recesses on the upper cross member of the frame or below on a threshold or the like . This locking can be provided in addition or as an alternative to the locking with the locking pin 8.

The drive rod 33 has a U-shaped cross section with a breakthrough in the U-center web for the lock latch 3 of the door lock 1 according to the invention. Furthermore, a locking plate 36 is attached to the inner surface of the one U-leg 35, which one in the locking position of the locking rod 11 Paragraph 37 of the lock latch 3 engages behind (Fig. 8). So that the lock latch can not be brought into the unlocked position when the lock 1 is closed even by the inside handle 4.

A driver pin 38 is fastened to the intermediate wheel 27 of the reduction gear 28. It allows the lock latch 3 to be withdrawn by turning the key inserted into the lock cylinder 7. The key is turned in a known manner, namely in the direction of arrow 39.

Dreht man nun den Schlüssel in Aufschließrichtung, d. h. im Sinne des Pfeils 39 weiter, so bewirkt dies eine Verschiebung des Wechselhebels 41 in Pfeilrichtung 45.Fig. 3 shows the starting position of the driver pin 38 when the lock is closed twice. When unlocked twice, the intermediate wheel 27 and the driving pin 38 rotate in the direction of arrow 40 by approximately 340 °. The free, downward-facing end of a change lever 41 pivots due to its own weight and / or driven by a spring in the direction of arrow 42 as soon as the driving pin 38 has come free from its edge 43. The shoulder-like driver edge 44 of the change lever 41 then comes into the range of motion of the driver bolt 38. After the lock has been unlocked, the driver bolt 38 has at least approximately reached the driver edge 44. Now turn the key in the unlocking direction, i.e. H. further in the direction of arrow 39, this causes the change lever 41 to be displaced in the direction of arrow 45.

The change lever 41 is rotatably mounted on a release lever 46 which in turn is mounted on the lock case 25 about the axis 47 in the sense of the double arrow 48. About the pin-slot connection 49, the lock latch 3 is pulled out of its striking plate of the frame during an upward movement of the change lever 41 in the direction of arrow 45, d. H. moved in the direction of arrow 50. A reset is carried out by means of the spring 51, which acts on an extension 52 of the lock latch 3. A manual release of the lock latch 3 can, as already explained, be carried out with the help of the inner handle 4, which is inserted into the square bore 53 of the handle nut 54. A return spring of the follower is designated 55.

The lock latch 3 is symmetrical and fastened to the latch slide 57 by means of screws 56. The screws are arranged on the side of the lock case 25 and are consequently only accessible when the lock is removed. In this way, deliberate damage to the lock latch is excluded.

The reduction gear 28 is held by means of a safety pin, not shown, preferably designed as a shear pin. This is an easier installation. The shear pin blocks the gear unit in the mounting position for the locking cylinder 7. When the gear unit is moved for the first time, this locking pin is sheared off, the function of which is accomplished after the assembly or installation of the locking cylinder with the pinion 17 or 24. In the event of a repair, you can remove the two halves of the shear pin and insert a new shear pin before reinserting the new or repaired locking cylinder.

The door lock according to the invention does not have a locking bolt, as is common in front door locks in addition to the lock latch. This bolt is not required per se, since the lock is already locked in itself. If such an additional bolt is desired for security reasons, it can be installed in such a lock without major difficulties.
