Description

The invention relates to a device for pulling off a boot from the foot, with a mouth which partially encompasses the boot and which has a lining made of elastic material, the height of the mouth being greater than the clear width thereof. Such devices are commonly referred to as "Stiefelknecht" and are known as a wooden plate resting on the floor at a certain angle or as a cast iron part. When pulling off narrow boots, there is now a risk with such known devices that the sensitive upper leather is scratched and unsightly. In addition, there is a risk in the known devices that the boot tears in the area of its heel. Devices of the type mentioned are known in particular from DE-C 66 417, US-A 3 623 640 and GB-A 1 001 980. In practice, however, the known linings made of elastic material have the disadvantage that, with sensitive and, in particular, thin types of leather, the frictional engagement could not be ensured over a sufficient length, which reliably prevented the occurrence of cracks and scratches in the upper leather.

The invention has not set itself the task of perfecting the known devices in such a way that it allows easy removal of a boot from the foot without impairing the sensitive surface of leather boots. To achieve this object, the invention is essentially characterized in that the lining of the mouth has a profile, the surface of which comes into contact with the boot has a Shore hardness of at most 60 shore A, preferably between 20 and 60 shore A. the profiling of suction cups or ribs or lamellae spaced apart from one another transversely to the axis of the mouth lie in planes which are inclined downwards to the axis of the mouth in the direction of the mouth opening. Such an elastic lining protects the surface of the boot and at the same time increases the friction between this surface of the boot and the mouth. The boot, as was also customary in the known devices, must be inserted into the mouth with its heel area, and the bearing surface of the device on the floor can be held down, for example, with the other foot. The lining can be made of elastomeric plastic, preferably polyurethane foam. In this way, a sufficient coefficient of friction against leather is achieved. The fact that the lining has a profile, the contact surface over which the lining is in contact with the shaft of the boot, even with irregular shaft shapes, as are provided above all in high-heeled ladies' leather boots, is ensured and the clamped length of the Heel area of the boot significantly increased compared to the known training. The frictional engagement extends over the entire length, as a result of which considerably lower forces are exerted on the upper leather of the boot in the individual partial regions of this length. The lining of the mouth preferably has a profiling, which can be formed by ribs or lamellae arranged at a distance from one another transversely to the axis of the mouth. This profile can also be formed by suction cups or inflatable air chambers. Due to the spaced-apart ribs or lamellae, which lie in planes that are inclined downwards towards the axis of the mouth in the direction of the mouth opening, frictional engagement over a large axial length of the shaft is achieved very quickly by compression of the ribs or lamellae, which allows the boot to be pulled off without damage. In an advantageous manner, the jaw axis can be inclined upwards at an angle of 50 to 70 ° to the base of the device in relation to the bearing surface of the device on the floor, thereby taking account of the movement sequences when the boot is removed.

The device according to the invention is designed according to a preferred embodiment such that the lining is designed as an insert which is inserted in a holder surrounding the mouth, which is formed by two side walls, the side walls preferably being connected by a web to form a U-shaped profile are. In this way, a simple manufacture of the device is possible, the side walls and optionally the parts of the device lying on the floor can be formed as separate parts and can be assembled when in use. With such a design, it is advantageous if the distance between the side walls decreases in the height direction and the insert part forming the lining can be displaced in the height direction between the side walls, the displacement path being limited at the top. In this case, an increasing contact pressure of the lining against the outside of the boot is achieved by moving the insert part upwards. Preferably, the insert forming the lining is guided in the direction of displacement and secured against coming out of the holder.

The contact pressure of the lining of the mouth on the outside of the boot can also be increased in a simple manner in that the insert part as an inflatable Air cushion is formed, the walls of which form the lining, again a design is advantageously selected in which the bearing surface of the device on the floor has a further deformable air cushion which is connected to the air cushion (s) of the insert part. In such a device, when the deformable air cushion is stepped on with the other foot on the bearing surface of the device, the air cushion forming the lining is inflated and pressed against the outside of the boot. The change in the contact pressure of the elastic lining on the outside of the boot can also be done by any mechanical means in that in the region of the free end of the bearing surface of the device a lever that can be pressed down with the foot to be placed on the bearing surface by a lever essentially parallel to the bearing surface Axis is pivotally articulated, and that this lever acts on the lining via ropes and / or further levers, the further levers being designed as two-armed angle levers, the pivot axes of which run essentially parallel to the lever and the free ends of the arms of the angle lever with the free one Interact with the end of the lever that can be actuated as a pedal, especially under it.

The configuration according to the invention is preferably such that the distance between the side walls of the mouth decreases in the height direction, and that the lining designed as an insert part can be displaced in the height direction between the side walls, the displacement path being limited at the top. With such a design, there is an increasing contact pressure when the lining is displaced in the vertical direction, the insert forming the lining preferably being guided in the direction of displacement and secured against coming out of the holder.

Fig. 12 und 13 eine Ausführungsform, bei welcher die Auskleidung über Schwenkhebel gegeneinandergepreßt ist, wobei Fig. 12 eine Seitenansicht und Fig. 13 einen Schnitt nach der Linie XIII-XIII der Fig. 12 darstellt.12 and 13 show an embodiment in which the lining is pressed against one another via swivel levers, FIG. 12 showing a side view and FIG. 13 a section along the line XIII-XIII of FIG. 12.

In Fig. 1, 1 denotes the base plate. To increase its dimensional stability, the base plate 1 has webs 2 in its central region which, like the edges of the base plate, rest on the floor when the device is in operation. Starting from this base plate 1 is an upward-pointing extension 3, which is clearly visible in FIG. 2. This extension serves to fix the elastic lining 4 of the mouth. This elastic lining 4 has lamellae 5 which limit the mouth 6. The clear width a of the mouth is approximately 1/3 of the height of the mouth. The elastic lining 4 surrounds with edges 7 and 8 the rigid parts of the base plate 1 or the upward extension and is fixed immovably in this way. The axis 9 of the mouth 6 is inclined at an angle of approximately 75 ° to the floor plane 10. If a heel area of a boot, not shown, is inserted into the mouth 6 and the device is held, for example, by depressing the base plate 1 with the other foot, the lamellae 5 of the elastic lining 4 press against the outer wall of the boot and it is simple and gentle Removal of the boot possible.

Die der offenen Seite des Maules zugewendeten Ränder 15 der elastischen Auskleidung übergreifen die Seitenwandbereiche 12.As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the webs 11 delimiting the base plate 1 merge into lateral wall areas 12 which, together with the projection 3 projecting upwards, form the holder surrounding the mouth 6. The side wall regions 12 have openings 13, through which extensions 14 of the elastic lining reach and in this way ensure the anchoring of the lining. The edges 15 of the elastic lining facing the open side of the mouth overlap the side wall regions 12.

Die Lamellen sind mit 21 bezeichnet.5, 6 and 7, the base plate is designated 16. The part 17 having the liner is pivoted about an axis 18 on this base plate 16. By pivoting the part 17 carrying the lining about this axis 18, the position shown in FIG. 6 can be achieved, in which the open side of the mouth gets under the base plate 16. The base plate 16 has stops 19 which limit the operating position of the part 17 carrying the lining. In this operating position, the jaw axis forms an angle of approximately 60 ° with the floor level. In Fig. 7 it can be seen that the articulation axis 18 is formed by short pins 19 of the base plate 16, which in corresponding recesses 20th of the part 17 carrying the liner. The slats are designated 21.

In the embodiment according to FIGS. 8 and 9, the holder 22 for the lining 23 made of elastic material is inserted through openings 24 in the base plate 25 and locked at 26 behind these openings 24. The holder 22 in turn has openings 27, through which projections 28 of the elastic lining 23 are passed, these projections 28 engaging behind the openings 27. Also on the upper edge of the elastic lining 23, the attachment to the bracket 22 is carried out by overlapping parts 29. As can be seen from the plan view according to FIG. 8, the holder 22 has an essentially U-shaped shape, which serves to stiffen the mouth on all sides.

In the embodiment according to FIGS. 10 and 11, the anchoring of the lining on the holder is realized in a manner similar to that in the embodiments already described. Overlapping shelves 31 and 32 are again provided. The rim 31 is inserted through an opening 33 in the bracket 34, while the rim 32 of the elastic lining surrounds the upper edge of the bracket 34. The elastic lining 35 has chambers 36, 37, 38 which are connected to one another via channels 39 and 40. These chambers 36, 37, 38 are also connected to an air cushion 40 on the base plate 41 in a manner not shown. Compressing the air cushion 40 thus causes the chambers 36, 37, 38 to inflate. The inner wall 42 of the elastic lining 35 results in the section according to FIG. 11 a kind of lamellar profile and is in the sense of inflating the air cushion 36, 37, 38 Reduction of the clear width a of the mouth pressed against each other.

In the embodiment according to FIGS. 12 and 13, a lever 43 is pivotably articulated on the base plate 45 about an axis 44 which runs essentially parallel to the floor plane. The base plate 45 merges into walls 46 which laterally delimit the mouth and which have openings 47. The inside of this wall 46 has a lining 48 made of elastomeric plastic. Extensions 49 of a lateral lever 51, which can be pivoted about an axis 50 and which essentially has an L-shaped profile, extend through the openings 47. One leg 52 of this angle lever can be pushed downward by depressing the lever 43 in the direction of the base plate, as a result of which the second leg 53, which carries the extensions 49, is pivoted inward in the direction of the arrow 54. The two angle levers 51 are pressed against one another on both sides of the mouth in the manner of a pair of pliers and in this way ensures perfect frictional engagement between a boot inserted into the mouth and the material of the elastic lining 48.
