Abstract
La invención se refiere al desarrollo de un dispositivo hidráulico para sellar herméticamente, in situ, agujeros, fisuras o fugas de uniones, producidas en la tubería subterránea de extracción de petróleos, gases u otros fluidos, y, especialmente, tiene que ver con un dispositivo que comprende un ensamble de cuatro secciones, que contienen varios medios de fijación y anclaje, y el método que permite desplazar el dispositivo para detectar y ubicar el sitio de la fuga y posicionarlo en el interior del tubo de producción del fluido, de forma tal que queda fijado, y sella herméticamente la sección averiada de la tubería de producción, permitiendo recuperar de esta manera el flujo de producción normal.
