Предложен способ (100, 200) получения водорода из газообразной сырьевой смеси, обогащенной водородом, метаном и углеводородами, имеющими два атома углерода, в котором текучую среду сырьевой смеси охлаждают от первого уровня температуры до второго уровня температуры при первом уровне давления, так что из текучей среды сырьевой смеси осаждаются один или большее количество конденсатов и остается остаточный газ; текучую среду остаточного газа дополнительно охлаждают до третьего уровня температуры и подвергают противоточной абсорбции при первом уровне давления, получая при этом верхний газ, обогащенный водородом и метаном, и кубовую жидкость; текучую среду верхнего газа нагревают и подвергают абсорбции (9) с колебаниями давления при первом уровне давления, с получением потока продукта, который обогащен водородом и обеднен по метану или не содержит метана; и текучую среду конденсата или конденсатов и/или кубовой жидкости расширяют от первого уровня давления до второго уровня давления и направляют в деметанизатор низкого давления при втором уровне давления. Предусмотрено проведение противоточной абсорбции с использованием текучей среды, которую отбирают из деметанизатора низкого давления при втором уровне давления, сжимают в газообразной форме до первого уровня давления и охлаждают до третьего уровня температуры. Изобретение относится также к соответствующему устройству.
