Abstract

Искусственный остров (10), легко приспосабливаемый для наземного или морского базирования, вмещающий оборудование для сбора солнечной энергии и имеющий возможность поворачиваться для оптимизации своей угловой ориентации относительно положения солнца. Искусственный остров (10) использует платформу (12), содержащую большое внешнее кольцо (14), плавающее на жидкости, и гибкое покрытие (16), прикрепленное к кольцу (14) для образования закрытого объема (30) под покрытием (16). Множество рядов (19) модулей коллектора солнечной радиации расположены выше покрытия (16) и несут на себе создающие пар тепловые трубы (21). Ряды (19) модулей поддерживаются над покрытием (16) верхней поддерживающей структурой или пространственной рамой (27), множеством тросов (46) или сотовой структурой (75). Компрессор (32) создает избыточное давление внутри закрытого объема (30) для поддержания покрытия (16) и других компонентов, установленных выше. Эта структура для поддержания рядов (19) модулей коллектора солнечной радиации дает возможность сооружать искусственный остров (10) с очень большой площадью поверхности, в конечном итоге до нескольких километров в диаметре, для лучшего использования потенциала солнечных концентраторов (22), для производства электричества при экономически приемлемой цене. Искусственный остров (10) включает в себя ряд других структурных признаков, которые увеличивают практическую применимость технологии сбора солнечной радиации.
