Abstract

Photovoltaic tiles are described that contain combined mechanical and electrical connections to simplify installation. Modules can be designed to fit over an existing finished roof. Methods for making photovoltaic tiles and modules include, for example, laminating a heat sink with a photovoltaic cell and / or injection molding.
