Изобретение относится к строительству и, в частности, к конструкциям многоэтажных жилых и общественных зданий с повышенной устойчивостью к неравномерным осадкам фундаментов, техногенным и несанкционированным воздействиям. Предлагаемое многоэтажное каркасное здание включает каркас с колоннами 1 и плоскими перекрытиями 2, в плоскости которых в створах колонн 1 размещены ригели. Наружные ограждающие конструкции 4 здания могут быть выполнены в виде поэтажно опертых стен или навешенных на каркас панелей. Здание может иметь подземные объемы 5. Колонны и вертикальные диафрагмы жесткости оперты на фундаментную плиту 7. В нижних частях здания на один или два этажа либо дискретно на промежуточных этажах по высоте здания могут быть выполнены горизонтальные пространственные опорные конструкции в виде плоских безраскосных ферм-балок 8, расположенных во взаимно перпендикулярных направлениях и жестко связанных между собой и с несущим каркасом здания. Безраскосные фермы-балки 8 включают вертикальные стойки, образованные сквозными колоннами 1 каркаса и дополнительными стойками 9 высотой на один или два этажа.
