Claims (13)

1. Sammensætning omfattende kanelaldehyd og zink til anvendelse i fremme af synkerefleks hos en dysfagisk patient.
2. Sammensætningen ifølge krav 1, hvor kanelaldehydet er til stede i sammensætningen i en mængde der er tolerabel at indtage og, i kombination med zinken, effektiv til at fremme synkerefleksen hos patienten.
3. Sammensætningen ifølge krav 2, hvor fremme af synkerefleksen omfatter en refleks valgt fra gruppen bestående af provokering af synkerefleksen, øge patientens evne til at synke, øge virkningen af synkerefleksen, nedsætte en forsinkelse i synkning, og kombinationer deraf.
4. Sammensætningen ifølge krav 1, hvor sammensætningen omfatter essentiel kanelolieekstrakt der tilvejebringer mindst en del af kanelaldehydet.
5. Sammensætningen ifølge krav 1, hvor mindst en del af kanelaldehydet er valgt fra gruppen bestående af isoleret kanelaldehyd og syntetiseret kanelaldehyd.
6. Sammensætningen ifølge krav 1, hvor mindst en del af zinken er valgt fra gruppen bestående af zinkchlorid, zinksulfat, zinklactat, zinkcitrat og kombinationer deraf.
7. Sammensætning omfattende kanelaldehyd og zink til anvendelse i behandling af dysfagi.
8. Sammensætningen ifølge krav 7, hvor dysfagien er oral pharyngeal dysfagi forbundet med en tilstand valgt fra gruppen bestående af cancer, cancerkemoterapi, cancerstråleterapi, kirurgi for oralcancer, kirurgi for halscancer, slagtilfælde, hjerneskade, en progressiv neuromuskulær sygdom, en neurodegenerativ sygdom, en patient med høj alder, og kombinationer deraf.
9. Sammensætning omfattende kanelaldehyd og zink til anvendelse i forebyggelse af aspirationspneumoni fra dysfagi hos en patient med risiko derfor.
10. Sammensætningen ifølge krav 9, hvor kanelaldehydet er til stede i sammensætningen i en mængde der er tolerabel at indtage og, i kombination med zinken, effektiv til at fremme synkerefleksen hos patienten.
11. Sammensætning omfattende kanelaldehyd og zink, hvor kanelaldehydet er til stede i sammensætningen i en mængde der er oralt tolerabel og, i kombination med zinken i sammensætningen, effektiv til at fremme synkerefleksen, og hvor sammensætningen er et fødevareprodukt i hvilken kanelaldehyd:zinkforholdet er 1:0,5 til 1:0,005.
12. Sammensætningen ifølge krav 11, hvor sammensætningen er et fødevareprodukt i hvilket kanelaldehydet er til stede ved en koncentration på ca. 100 ppm.
13. Sammensætningen ifølge krav 11, hvor sammensætningen er et fødevareprodukt omfattende en komponent valgt fra gruppen bestående af protein, carbohydrat, fedt og kombinationer deraf.
