Claims (16)
1. Fremgangsmåde til at reparere en vingeoverflade havende en flerhed af skadeshuller forårsaget af erodering eller slagskader omfattende: at fylde flerheden af skadeshuller i overfladen med et flydende reparationsmateriale ved at anvende en fleksibel påføringsenhed, som er i stand til at tilpasse sig til vingeoverfladen, imens den trækkes i længderetningen langs af vingenoverfladen, hvor vingeoverfladen har en elastomerisk beskyttende belægningfastklæbet på et afsnit af vingeoverfladen og den elastomeriske beskyttende belægning indeholder flerheden af skadeshuller forårsaget af erodering eller slagskader, og hvor afsnittet af vingeoverfladen, som indeholder flerheden af huller, er en overflade, der omslutter forkanten af vingen.
2. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 1, yderligere omfattende trinnet at hærde det flydende reparationsmateriale.
3. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 1, yderligere omfattende at hærde det flydende reparationsmateriale for at danne en elastomerisk basisbelægning, som kan håndslibes, havende fyldstof tilføjet i en mængde af 20% til 80% efter vægt, og hvor overfladen kan afslides til løse stykker ved håndslibning, fortrinsvis indenfor ét minuts håndslibning på et 38mm (1,5 tommer) gange 76mm (3 tommer) område af den elastomeriske basisbelægning, som kan håndslibes, ved brug af korn 80 aluminiumoxidsandpapir.
4. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 1, yderligere omfattende det indledende trin at: slibe afsnittet af den elastomeriske belægning, som indeholder flerheden af skadeshuller, med et slibemateriale.
5. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 1, yderligere omfattende at påføre en primerbelægning i flerheden af skadeshuller før fyldetrinnet, fortrinsvis ved brug af en mikrostørrelse tip eller børste.
6. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 1, yderligere omfattende trinnet at påføre en eroderingsmodstandsdygtig elastomerisk topbelægning ovenpå afsnittet af vingeoverfladen, der indeholder flerheden af skadeshuller, efter trinnet, hvor flerheden af huller fyldes.
7. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 6, hvor den eroderingsmodstandsdygtige elastomeriske topbelægning er mere sanderoderingsmodstandsdygtig end den underliggende elastomeriske basisbelægning, og hvor den elastomeriske basisbelægning udgør mindst 50% af den samlede belægningstykkelse.
8. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 1, hvor det flydende reparationsmateriale er po-lyurethan, polyurea eller fluoroelastomer.
9. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 2, hvor det hærdede flydende reparationsmateriale har en ultimativ hærdet brudforlængelse målt efter ASTM D412-92 på mindst 40% ved brud og har et glans-, semi-glans- eller mattefinish.
10. Fremgangsmåde efter krav 1, hvor den fleksible påføringsenhed er en flad plade af plastikmateriale, med en tykkelse udvalgt til at tillade den at være deformerbar omkring forkanten af vingen og stiv nok til at sprede det flydende reparationsmateriale, der har en viskositet, der spænder fra en belægning, der kan påføres med pensel, op til et materiale så viskøst som en flydende tætningsmasse.
11. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 1, hvor påføringsenheden omfatter: et legeme, der har et åbent indre område defineret af mindst én indre væg, hvor væggen har en afstrygningskant på en distal ende deraf og en frontkant overvejende modsat afstrygningskanten; hvor afstrygningskanten definerer en kontur passende til en forkantsoverflade af en vinge; hvor forkanten definerer en kontur formet til at danne en lomme imellem forkantsoverfladen af vingen og den indre væg; og hvor under behandling, befinder der sig et elastomerisk materiale indeni lommen, således at når afstrygningskanten bliver trukket langs forkantsoverfladen af vingen, bliver det elastomeriske materiale påført på forkantsoverfladen af vingen, og følger den derved definerede form.
12. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 11, hvor den fleksible påføringsenhed yderligere omfatter et håndtag (92) fastgjort til legemet.
13. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 11, hvor den fleksible påføringsenhed yderligere omfatter en fluidtilslutning (102) indrettet til at føre det flydende reparationsmateriale ind i lommen.
14. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 11, hvor legemet er et plastikelement med elastisk hukommelse, der er i stand til at bibeholde formen af afstrygningskanten, som definerer en kontur passende til forkantsafsnittet, imens påføringsenheden trækkes langs forkantsafsnittet af vingen.
15. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 1, hvor det flydende reparationsmateriale er formuleret som en elastomerisk basisbelægning med tilføjede fyldstoffer til at sænke slibningsmodstandsdygtigheden af basisbelægningen, og fyldstoffet er udvalgt fra gruppen bestående af silikater, ler, montmorillonit, glimmer, calciumsilikat, calcium-metasilikat, natriumaluminiumsilikat, natriumsilikat, calciumsulfat, bariumsulfat, natriumsulfat, aluminiumnatriumsulfat, aluminiumsulfat, gips, aluminiumtrihydrat, calciumoxid, kalk, aluminiumoxid, titanoxid, jernoxid, metalsulfider, metalpulver, metalflager, metalfiber, fræset metalflager, metalnitrider, grafit, kulstof-nanorør, kulstoffibre og fræset kulstoffibre, silica, kvarts, glasperler, glasbobler, glasfibre, metal-belagte glaskugler, metal-belagte hule sfærer, buckyballs, elektroaktive polymerer, antimon doteret tinoxid, carbon blacks, koks, mikro balloner, og oxider, borider, carbide, nitrider og silikater fra gruppen af kemiske forbindelser/compounds indeholdende bor, aluminium, silikone, titanium, wolfram og kemiske forbindelser/compounds af zirkonium, organisk baserede pulvere af polykarbonat, polyetherimid, polyester, polyethylen, polysulfon, polystyren, acrylonitril-butadien-styren blokcopolymer, Teflon, fluoropolymerer, polypropylen, acetal polymerer, polyvinylchlorid, polyurethaner, nylon og kombinationer deraf.
16. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, hvor den fleksible påføringsenhed er en del af et vingereparationskit, hvor reparationskittet yderligere omfatter et elastomerisk flydende reperationsmateriale, der har en ultimativ hærdet brudforlængelse målt efter ASTM D412-92 på mindst 40% ved brud, én eller flere dele valgt fra gruppen bestående af sakse, fortrinsvist kurvede sakse, slibematerialer, en primer, en flydende elastomerisk basisbelægning, en flydende elastomerisk topbelægning, en tip eller børste, og en sprøjte.
