Abstract

A transportable container to be carried on ships, lorries and the like is formed from frame members (5) joined together and having a cladding (2, 3) secured thereto. A thermal break (11) is present along at least a portion of the length of the frame members (5), and reinforcing elements (22) may be located adjacent the frame members (5) to give the container the required strength.
