Abstract

A spreading machine 1 for use in agriculture, such as a machine for spreading seed corn or fertiliser in solid or liquid form without prior tilling of the soil by ploughing, harrowing or other form of tilling comprises a frame 2, carrier wheel 3, which can be swivelled down and up in relation to the frame 29 by means of a drive element, spreading shares 4, 5, which are provided with spreading mouthpieces 22 and which are arranged at the bottom ends of the share arms 17, 18, the upper ends of which are connected to the frame 2 by means of a fastening element. Each share comprises a share disc 4, 5, which can produce a trench or furrow 25, 26, and which can be turned by means of a separate share arm 17, 18, which is fitted largely in the direction of travel of the machine. The shares 4, 5 are evenly distributed in a leading row 4 and a back row 5, the shares in the two rows being laterally staggered so that furrows are produced the same interval apart. Each carrier wheel 3 is designed to control the working depth 21 of a pair of shares 4, 5 by means of an adjusting element. The said adjusting element comprises actuating elements, which connect the carrier wheel 3 to a pair of shares, that is one share 4 in the leading row and an adjoining share 5 in the rear row. <IMAGE>
