Claims (5)

1. Fremgangsmåde til genvinding af biologisk materialet koblet til en mikroarray-objektbærer, omfattende: vælge et biologisk materiale der skal genvindes fra mikroarray-objektbæreren; finde det biologiske materiale inde i en distinkt rumlig region på mikroarray-objektbæreroverfladen; og eluere mindst en del af det valgte biologiske materiale fra den distinkte rumlige region uden at eluere væsentlige mængder af ikke-valgt biologisk materiale fra regioner af mikroarray-objektbæreren der ikke er inde i den distinkte rumlige region, hvor eluering omfatter påføring af en denatureringsbuffer til den distinkt rumlige region der fungerer til at frigive delen af det biologiske materiale fra mikroarray-objektbæreren.
2. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 1, hvor eluering yderligere omfatter: opvarme mindst en del af den distinkt rumlige region for at fremme frigivelse af mindst en del af det valgte biologiske materiale fra mikroarrayoverfladen; eller påføre en varmekilde til den distinkt rumlige region i tilstedeværelse af denatureringsbufferen; og skylle mikroarrayoverfladen med en genvindingsbuffer for at genvinde det valgte biologiske materiale.
3. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 1, hvor det valgte biologiske materiale er et medlem valgt fra gruppen bestående af DNA, cDNA, RNA, peptider, og kombinationer deraf.
4. System til genvinding af nukleinsyremateriale fra et mikroarray, omfattende: mikroarrayscanner konfigureret til at scanne mikroarrayoverfladen og identificere en lokation af et nukleinsyremateriale der skal genvindes; fordelingsinstrument konfigureret til at modtage input fra mikroarrayscanneren og udlevere en elueringsbuffer på en separat fordelingsflade af mikroarrayoverfladen ved lokationen indikeret af mikroarrayscanneren; og et genvindingsinstrument konfigureret til at genvinde elueringsbufferen fra mikroarrayoverfladen.
5. Systemet ifølge krav 4, yderligere omfattende en opvarmningsindretning konfigureret til at opvarme den separate fordelingsflade og hvor genvindingsinstrumentet er en elektrisk ladet overflade.
