Opfindelsen angår en radarmaskering, i hvilken der indgår et vævet materiale, som indeholder elektrisk ledende fibre tyndere end 0,02 mm, og et derpå lamineret plastlag.
Der kendes allerede sådanne radarmaskeringer i dug-5 eller baneform, hvor man til tilvejebringelse af maskering mod detektering med radar har indført fibriller af metal, som på grund af, at de er ledende, bliver exciterede af påstrålet energi, som dels reflekteres, dels absorberes. Eksempler på sådanne konistruktioner er vist i US patentskrift 10 nr. 3.733.606.
Man har også anvendt metal i andre former end fibriller, og ifølge US patentskrift nr. 3.300.781 foreslås der anvendelse af med metalbelægning udstyrede plastlag, der kan rynkes således, at metalbelægningen opbrydes.
15 Det har i praksis vist sig vanskeligt at få disse kendte konstruktioner til at fungere godt i flere bølgelængdeområder for radar. De mest almindeligt forekommende radarbølgelængder til detektering er x-båndet, 35 GHz- og 94 GHz-båndene.
20 Radarrefleksionen må være passende stor, efersom det gælder om at tilvejebringe et radarbillede, som falder sammen med naturen. Ved den kendte metode, hvor der indvæves metal-fibriller, iblandes der nogle procent metalfibriller, der dog ikke må væves for tæt, eftersom refleksionen i så fald 25 kan risikere at blive for høj, og trådene må ikke ligge for tæt. Det kan være passende med 7 tråde pr. cm. Ved høje frekvenser (94 GHz) får man da det problem, at transmissionen gennem maskeåbningerne bliver for høj.
Såfremt man i stedet arbejder med metalfolie, bliver 30 refleksionen let alt for høj, og såfremt metallet er fordampet på en plastfilm, f.eks. polyester, fås der tilmed et perfekt spejl for radiobølger. Dette lag er imidlertid, således som det også fremgår af det ovennævnte US patentskrift nr. 3.300.781, meget følsomt for revner, der opstår 35 ved folder og bøjninger. Også ved laminering er risikoen for revner stor. Radarrefleksionen ødelægges da for længere

2 bølgelængder.
Fra AU patentskrift nr. 496.649 kendes der en radarmaskering, som omfatter et vævet materiale, som indeholder elektrisk ledende fibre tyndere end 0,02 mm, og et derpå 5 lamineret plastlag.
Det er et formål med den foreliggende opfindelse at tilvejebringe en forbedret radarmaskering, som fungerer godt over et større bølgelængdeområde for radarbølger.
Dette formål opnås ifølge opfindelsen med en radar-10 maskering af den ovenfor angivne art, og denne maskering er ejendommelig ved, at plastlaget er et materiale med en emissionsfaktor inden for bølgelængdeområderne 0,03-0,05 mm og 0,08-0,140 mm, samt at der mellem plastlaget og det vævede materiale findes et tyndt metallag, som ved lamineringen 15 mod det vævede materiale er blevet krakeleret.
Det er hensigtsmæssigt, at de elektrisk ledende fibre er længere end 3 cm.
Det er også hensigtsmæssigt, at plastlaget er af polyethylen og er fæstnet til det vævede materiale ved hjælp 20 af en limfilm.
Opfindelsen skal i det følgende belyses ved hjælp af et udførelseseksempel og i tilknytning til tegningen, på hvilken figur 1 viser refleksionen som funktion af bølgelængden ved forskellige typer af reflekterende materiale, og på 25 hvilken figur 2 viser et udførelseseksempel på radarmaskeringen ifølge opfindelsen.
I figur 1 viser den punkterede kurvelinie refleksionens bølgelængdeafhængighed for et vævet materiale med metalfibriller i, og det ses, at refleksionen fra en værdi 30 på 60% ved bølgelængden 30 mm synker til 2,5% ved 3 mm.
Tilsvarende værdier for en kombineret maskering ifølge opfindelsen er markeret med små cirkler, og det ses, at ved 3 mm er refleksionsevnen forøget til 40%. Ved bølgelængden 0,01 mm har man en refleksionsevne på 30%. Såfremt metalover-35 fladen havde været på ydersiden, havde man fået en væsentligt højere værdi, men her bidrager den polymere i folien til en 3

undertrykkelse til en passende værdi.
Udførelseseksempel
Et vævet materiale 1 af polyamid med 13/13 tråde pr.
5 can anvendes som bærer, idet hveranden tråd er en fuldt ud strakt multifil tråd, og hveranden tråd er spunden og indeholder nogle procent metalfibriller tyndere end 0,02 mm i diameter og længere end 3 cm inden indspindingen. Den spundne tråd er nødvendig for at få metal fibrene med, medens den 10 fuldt strakte tråd er nødvendig for at opnå høj træk- og rivestyrke.
Det vævede materiale 1 er allerede indfarvet grønt til opnåelse af kamouflageegenskaber. Det lamineres ifølge figur 2 under varme til en vakuummetalliseret polyethen 3 15 med en limfilm 2 imellem. En matteret releasebærer 5 følger med ved lamineringen med det formål at give polyethenfolien en mat overflade.
Varmen og trykket bevirker, at det vævede materiale 1 delvis synker ind i en metalliseret overflade 4 og ødelæg-20 ger dens elektrisk ledende egenskaber, overfladen 4 krakeleret også hos metallet, når polyethenet 3 delvis smelter ved lamineringen.
Med denne folie er der opnået de i det foregående beskrevne resultater.
Claims (3)
1. Radarmaskering, i hvilken der indgår et vævet materiale (1), som indeholder elektrisk ledende fibre tyndere end 0,02 mm, og et derpå lamineret plastlag (3), k e n-5 detegnet ved, at plastlaget er et materiale med en emissionsfaktor inden for bølgelængdeområderne 0,03-0,05 mm og 0,08-0,140 mm, samt at der mellem plastlaget (3) og det vævede materiale findes et tyndt metallag (4), som ved lamineringen mod det vævede materiale er blevet krakeleret.
2. Radarmaskering ifølge krav 1, kendeteg net ved, at fibrene er længere end 3 cm.
3. Radarmaskering ifølge krav 1 eller 2, kendetegnet ved, at plastlaget er af polyethylen og er fæstnet til det vævede materiale (1) ved hjælp af en limfilm 15 (2).
