Abstract

The diagnosis method has a working space (6,7) of the setting drive (1) coupled to a pressure supply system which is below the system pressure (8), the position of the setting drive piston (3) within the setting drive housing (2) being detected. The static pressure component of the pressure in the working space is measured between 2 operating points of the setting drive and compared with a required pressure characteristic. Also included are Independent claims for the following: (a) a diagnosis device for a pneumatic setting drive; (b) a pneumatic setting drive.
