Abstract

The hair curler (1) has a plastics or metal support body (2) that tapers from its start end (3) towards its other end (4), w has a thickening (6) to prevent hair from slipping. A fastening unit (8) fixes the support body in the area of the hair section the head. A hook band (7) around part of the support body begins at the start end of the support body. The section with the hook band has a cross-section with different radii of curvature around its edge.
