Abstract
A dirt filter (9) is connected into a water-supply line (8), which filter has a mechanical filter element through which the water passes and which, on the side against which the water flows, is enclosed in a filter housing (9'). The filter housing (9') is connected, via a first controllable shut-off valve (10.1), to a first drainage-water flushing line (11.1) opening into a drainage-water channel (21), with the result that the filter element can be flushed free of dirt by opening the shut-off valve (10.1). In the course of the water-supply line (8), a pressure tank (20) is connected downstream of the dirt filter (9), water inflow being carried out in the upper tank part and water outflow being carried out in the lower tank part. The pressure tank (20) is connected, at the top, to a gas-outlet line (22) with a precision air-release valve (2) and, at the bottom, to a flushing line (18) which is connected, via a second controllable shut-off valve (10.2), to a second drainage-water flushing line (11.2) which likewise opens into the drainage-water channel (21). Impurities in the water which have not been retained in the dirt filter (9) are either deposited on the base of the pressure tank (20), from where they are floated out when the shut-off valve (10.2) is opened, or rise in the form of a gas into the gas-outlet line (22), where they are blown out by the air-release valve (2). <IMAGE>
