Abstract

The invention relates to a device for connecting an agricultural machine (2) to the tractor (1) towing it and driving it via a power take-off shaft (10). It comprises a double gear (8). This consists of two angular gears (15, 16) which are arranged one above the other and which are pivotable relative to one another about a first axis A-A via a mounting (21). The double gear (8) is assigned a holding stirrup (9) having a bearing journal, by means of which it is connected to a crossmember (7) so as to be pivotable about an axis C-C. The crossmember serves for fastening the machine (2) to the catch hook (4) of the lower links (3) of the tractor (1). These allow a pivoting movement about the axis A-A. An improved transmission of the towing forces is achieved by means of the holding stirrup (9). <IMAGE>
