Abstract

The invention relates to an insert for a pipe clamp 2 with a recess formed by limbs 5 which can move relative to one another. In order to ensure good damping characteristics, in particular noise-damping characteristics of the insert 1 and in order, on the other hand, to support this insert on the pipe clamp such that it cannot slide out it is provided for the base region 4 to be provided with a surface coating 7 which has a favourable sliding coefficient or is harder than the soft material of the base region 4 (Fig. 10), the side regions 5 furthermore being capable of being produced from a harder material than the base region 4, in order to achieve better anchoring in the pipe clamp 2. <IMAGE>
