DEUTSCHES PATENTAMTGERMAN PATENT OFFICE
The invention relates to a circuit arrangement for electromagnetically operated switching devices for Switching on power consumers that cause a severe voltage drop.
In factories in which motors are used, their output is about that of the generators When these motors are switched on, a sharp drop in the terminal voltage on the generators must be expected. Such systems can be found, for example, in ship operations, rural or self-service systems. Are the motors by electromagnetic actuated switching devices switched on, the actuating voltage of which is taken from the mains, so It may be that the switching devices do not pull through as a result of the lowering of the voltage and the Thus weld the contacts. Likewise, high contact stress can be caused by the so-called Pumps, d. H. occur due to a steady change in tension or falling. You can also use elek- ao Electromagnetically operated switching devices already switched on, switched on auxiliaries drop out when the voltage drops below the value of the holding voltage.
With the help of electromechanical or electromagnetic voltage regulators it is possible to regulate the voltage dip in the shortest possible time, for example in 0.3 to 0.5 seconds. However, this time is often enough to bring the switching device to waste.
A similar behavior of the electromagnetic switching devices is to be expected if motors that are connected to long lines are switched on.

Mit HilfeHere, too, the voltage drops due to the high starting current. The consequence of this can be unsafe operation of the switching device and thus high contact stress.
In order to eliminate the deficiencies indicated, according to the invention, the actuating coil of the electromagnetically actuated switching devices should be provided with taps which can be switched over by means of a time-dependent organ. With help
In der Zeichnung sind \.zwei Ausführungsbeispiere für Schaltanlagen dargestellt, in denen die Erfindung angeordnet ist.ίο these taps can be achieved that the Switching device is safe even if the voltage drops sharply during the start-up process Contacts closes. The second link, which should be designed for the start-up or interruption time must switch to full voltage winding after normal operating conditions have been established. There are two examples in the drawing shown for switchgear in which the invention is arranged.
Mit 2 sind die Hauptkontakte und mit 3 dieao Fig. ι shows a consumer lying on a long line L , for example a motor M. This is connected to the mains voltage via an electromagnetically operated switching device ι. With 2 the main contacts and with 3 the
The consumer line is also secured with the fuse 4 and the bimetal releases 5. The coil 3 of the switching device is connected to the mains voltage and is switched on by means of the push button 6 and switched off by means of the push button 7. According to the invention, it is provided with two taps 8 and 9, which are placed in the circuit via a timing element 10. One winding part of the coil is designed to pull in the switching device when the voltage is reduced, while the other winding part is designed to hold. The timing element 10 is dimensioned so that it bridges the start-up time of the motor M and then switches to the holding winding. In the case shown, the voltage, as shown in FIG. 3, will slowly rise to its nominal value and the current increased during start-up will decrease to its nominal value.
Fig. 3), und zwar so lange,
In Fig. 2 an auxiliary arrangement for an emergency power or generator system is shown, such as can be found on ships, for example. The generator 20 is equipped with an electromagnetic regulator 21 which eliminates voltage drops in a relatively short time. The consumers are connected to line 22. It should be assumed that the motor 23 represents the main drive which is to be connected to the network, while an auxiliary drive which is already switched on is designated by 24. The lines to the drives are protected in a known manner with bimetallic triggers 25 and fuses 26 against malfunctions. The coil 27 of the device which switches on the motor 23 via the contacts 28 is excited by the mains voltage. Since the main motor 23 in such systems has about 50% or more of the generator power, the mains voltage will also decrease sharply when it is switched on (see FIG. 3), until the magnetic regulator 21 of the generator has regulated to the nominal voltage again . As has already been explained, the voltage drop can mean that the electromagnetic switching device does not pull through properly and its contacts do not close properly. The result will be welding or severe contact erosion. The coil 27 is therefore provided according to the invention with partial windings which can be switched over by means of a timing element 29 after the start has taken place. This ensures that the switching device responds reliably even at lower voltages.
. In order to avoid that the switched-on auxiliary drives 24, which are also connected to voltage by means of these electromagnetic switching devices 30, can drop out when the main motor 23 starts up, delay devices 30 are provided for the switching devices. These are to be designed in such a way that they can be used to bridge the expected start-up time of the main motor, usually around 0.5 seconds.
