Diese Methode (und ähnliche Methoden;, bei denen die Schutzelemente mit dem Bord mechanisch verbunden werden) hat den Nachteil, daß eine verhältnismäßig lange Zeit zur Herstellung des fertigen Bords (d.h. zur Ausstattung mit Schutzelementen) benötigt wird und daß damit ein nicht vernachlässigbarer Kostenanteil verbunden ist, der die Kosten des fertigen Kühlschranks beeinflußt.Refrigerator shelves are known which are provided with protective elements on their edges.
