Die Unterkanten der Wertscheine unterliegen dabei einer Reibung auf der Wertscheinaufiage 40. Diese wirkt sich ais Rückhaltekraft auf die Unterkanten der Wertscheine aus. Die Ausrichtrolle 88 wirkt nun dieser Wölbung entgegen, wodurch die unteren Ränder der Wertscheine in Richtung auf die Abzugsrolle 34 geschoben werden. Zugleich werden die unteren Ränder der Wertscheine aufgelockert und aneinander haftende Wertscheine voneinander getrennt.
