Mit dieser Anordnung, bei der das Gehäuse der Dose mit den Profil-Längsrändern der Einbauöffnung des Installationskanals verbunden wird, können unterhalb der Dose ein Freiraum für das Durchziehen der Kabel und die Möglichkeit des Einbaus von vorkonfektionierten elektrischen Gerätedosen unterschiedlicher Bauarten und Systeme geschaffen werden. Mit den Halteelementen können erfindungsgemäß Klemmelemente verbindbar sein, die die Profil-Längsränder der Einbauöffnung des Installationskanals unterfassen und damit die vorkonfektionierte Gerätedose gegen Zug zu sichern, wenn es sich z. B. um eine oder mehrere Steckdosen handelt. Die Halteelemente selbst können aus, mit der Oberseite der vorkonfektionierten Gerätedose verbindbaren Federbügeln bestehen oder in an sich bekannter Weise aus, mit den Begrenzungswänden der Gerätedose ein Stück bildende Ansätze, mit hakenförmigem Profil-Querschnitt bestehen. Wie die Erfindung weiter vorsieht können die Deckelabdeckungen des Installationskanals selbst eine Öffnung für das Aufsetzen eines, mit der Oberseite der Gerätedose verbindbaren Geräteabdeckungsrahmens aufweisen, der dabei ein zu der jeweiligen vorkonfektionierten Gerätedose gehöriges Serienteil sein kann. Auf die, wie strichpunktiert angedeutet, in die Einbauöffnung lc eingesetzte Gerätedose 4 wird (vgl. auch Figur 2) eine Deckelabdeckung 2' aufgesetzt, die eine Öffnung 2'a aufweist, durch die ein Gerätedosen-Abdeckrahmen 6 mit der Oberseite 4a der vorkonfektionierten Gerätedose 4, hier mittels der Klemmansätze 6a steckverbunden werden kann.
