Description
The invention relates to a water-conducting household appliance, such as a washing machine or dishwasher with an inlet hose entering the lower housing area, which has a sheath hose and is connected to an electrically switchable valve in the upper area, wherein the sheath hose is open in the lower area to the housing inlet.
From DE-OS 36 18 258 it is known to design a water-carrying household appliance with an inlet hose that opens into the lower area and has a sheath hose which is open in the area of the inlet opening in the housing so that leakage water can drip into the base pan of the housing. In order to prevent the leakage water from reaching live components of the appliance, the inlet opening is designed with a deflector. In this design, a solenoid valve for water flow control is also provided inside the appliance. Any leaks that occur at this solenoid valve can come into contact with other live components, as they are not directed specifically into the base pan. The invention is based on the problem of reducing the number of possible leakage water points and concentrating them at one location in the appliance housing so that all the leakage water that occurs is directed from there specifically into the base pan to the leakage water sensor, which therefore responds to moisture at an early stage.
This problem is solved in the subject matter according to the invention by the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments and further developments emerge from the following claims.
The advantages that can be achieved with the invention are in particular that the leakage water is directed into the device housing at a quasi leakage water collection point. For this purpose, the housing is designed with a holder facing the inside of the housing, which has a leakage water guide. On the one hand, the leakage water that enters the device via the sheath hose and on the other hand, the leakage water that occurs at the solenoid valve are led together to the base pan. Because the holder for the solenoid valve is designed with a leakage water guide, the manufacturing effort is reduced.
An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing and is described in more detail below.

für das Magnetventil (3) mit Leckwasserführung (4).for the solenoid valve (3) with leakage water guide (4).
Figure 1 shows the entry area of the inlet hose for a water-conducting household appliance in a side view. The inlet hose is designed to be pressure-resistant and has a sheathed hose (1). The electrically switchable valve (2) in the upper area outside the appliance for connection to the water network is connected to the inlet hose. In the connection area of the solenoid valve (3), the hose (1) is open, i.e. leakage water can flow out of the hose (1). This leakage water is guided into the interior of the appliance via the leakage water guide (4) of the holder (5) for the solenoid valve (3) and causes the leakage water sensor to respond. The holder (5) for the solenoid valve (3) is directed towards the inside of the housing. The holder (5) can be designed as a single piece, molded out of the housing wall (6). However, it is also possible to insert a plastic holder for the solenoid valve (3) into the housing wall (6). The holder (5) has a through-opening (7) for connecting the solenoid valve (3) to the pressure-resistant inlet hose. The solenoid valve (3) is arranged on the side of the holder (5) facing the inside of the housing, and the connection is accessible from the outside. On the side of the holder (5) accessible from the outside, the sheath hose (1) ends with its outlet opening for the leakage water directly at the coupling piece (8) for the inlet. Leakage water flowing through the sheath hose (1) is guided into the inside of the housing via the leakage water guide (4) integrated in the holder (5). The leakage water guide (4) can be designed in its simplest form as a hole or channel in the holder (5). It is advantageous to design the holder (5) with a drip edge (9) that prevents leakage water from dripping onto the outside of the device.
Figure 2 shows a second example of the holder (5) and the arrangement of the solenoid valve (3). Here, a type of leakage water collection chamber (10) is provided, from which the water is then directed into the interior of the device.
