Meist sind jedoch die Positionen der einzelnen Teile zueinander zufällig, bspw. abhängig von der Bewegung der Person, die den Schmuck trägt. Die gewünschte optische Wirkung des Schmuckstücks ist nur bedingt vorggebbar bzw. beeinflußbar. Weitere Ausführungsformen von Schmuckstücken mit mindestens zwei miteinander wirkverbundenen, relativ zueinander bewegbaren Teilen stellen auch Sprungdeckeluhren oder Amulette dar, wobei ein Teil durch den Deckel und das andere Teil durch den Schmuckkörper gebildet ist.A wide variety of designs for pieces of jewelry of the type in question are already known in practice.
