Gepäckträger der vorstehenden Art sind insbesondere bei Motorrädern und Motorrollern bekannt und gebräuchlich. Der hierzu erforderliche Arbeitsaufwand wird jedoch als lästig empfunden, zumal man dazu Werkzeug benötigt und sich bei der Montage oder Demontage zumindest die Hände schmutzig macht. Weiterhin ist bei bekannten Gepäckträgern nachteilig, daß von ihnen gehaltenes Gepäck die Rückleuchte und/oder die Blinker abdecken kann.
