Das Wanddurchführungsrohr ist von einer die Abdichtglocke gegen das Wanddurchführungsrohr abdichtenden Dichtmanschette umgeben. Außerdem weist die Abdichtglocke Injektionsöffnungen für Dichtmasse auf. - Dieser Bausatz ermöglicht eine gas- und wasserdichte Abdichtung des Wanddurchführungsrohres und folglich eingezogener Kabel gegen die Wandbohrung einer Mauerdurchführung und ist für die Erstinstallation einer Kabeleinführung in Gebäuden gedacht. Die Praxis hat jedoch gezeigt, daß eine Mehrzahl von vorhandenen Kabel- bzw. Rohreinführungen in Gebäuden undicht sind und deshalb eine Erneuerung verlangen. In solchen Fällen müssen ein neues Wanddurchführungsrohr eingebaut, neue Kabel eingezogen und die alte Mauerdurchführung bzw. das Wanddurchführungsrohr in der Wandbohrung abgedichtet werden. Die Abdichtglocke 7 weist am Glockenrand einen Dichtring 13 auf, um das Austreten von Dichtmasse 11 zu vermeiden. Sie besitzt ferner Befestigungsbohrungen 14 für Dübel und Schrauben, damit sie im Zuge der Injektion von Dichtmasse 11 nicht von der Wandfläche 8 abheben kann.
