Abstract

A reclosable package for a stack of paper towels is described which is produced from a single blank. The package has the following features: - the preferably upright cuboid package has -- in each case a front and a rear main surface 1; 2, -- in each case a right and a left side surface 3; 4, -- a bottom surface 5, and -- a top covering surface 6; - in the front main surface 1 there is an incision 7 starting from the upper edge and - the rear main surface is extended integrally to form a closure flap 9, -- which can be folded over the contents 10 of the package and, in the folded-down position, extends beyond the incision in the front main surface, - the two side surfaces 3, 4 likewise extend beyond the contents of the package and are connected to the closure flap 9 forming lateral closure tabs 11, 12, - in the opened-out state, the free edge 14 of each side closure tab 11, 12 forms a smooth curve -- e.g. a straight -- or a curved line. Wurden die Packungen nach dem hier empfohlenen stetig verlaufenden Schnittmuster erzeugt, wobei sie ansonsten völlig gleich gebaut waren und auch aus dem gleichen Werkstoff bestanden, so ergab sich eine Einreißfestigkeit von über 10 N. Die Steigerung ist also beträchtlich und war eigentlich nicht vorauszusehen. Diese Gefahr kann beseitigt werden, wenn die freie Kante 14 eines jeden seitlichen Verschlußlappens 11 und 12 eine stetige Linie bildet. Es kann sich hierbei um eine Gerade handeln, wie in der Zeichnung dargestellt, oder auch um eine stetig gekrümmte Linie, etwa ein Kreissegment, eine Parabel oder dergleichen. Daß die Kante 14 in der Zeichnung geknickt erscheint, ist darauf zurückzuführen, daß sie so gezeichnet wurde, als sei die Verschlußlasche 9 nicht völlig nach hinten gezogen, sondern etwas in Richtung Verschluß nach vorne geneigt.
