explained in more detail.
io mit geringer Streuwirkung vorgesehen, dessen Primärwicklung i i in Serie mit
Infolgedessen
erzeugen Widerstandsänderungen im Belfastungsstromkrei:s der Wicklungen 12 und;
13 Änderungen in :der Spannung an den Transformatorwicklungen.According to FIG. I, the discharge vessel i, for example a sodium lamp, contains two filament electrodes 2 and 3 which are to be heated to emission temperature before the discharge is ignited in order to extend their service life. During normal operation, the arrangement is powered by an alternating current source q. fed, for example at 22o, volts and 6o Hz. The voltage is fed to the vessel via the choke 5, the transformer 6 and the switch 7. For the heating, the electrodes and for igniting the discharge, a Dros, sel9 and, lein transformer io with low scattering effect is provided, the primary winding ii of which is in series with the choke 9 and from the power source q. is fed. The transformer io has three secondary windings 12, 13 and 1q .. The windings i2 and 13 supply the heating current for the electrodes 2 and 3. The winding 14 supplies the current for the circuit in which the capacitor 15 and the saturation reactor 16 lying. This circuit is such that it goes into the resonance state by saturation of the choke 16. As a result of the increase in voltage on the capacitor, which is caused by the saturation of the choke, a discharge is ignited in the vessel ii: between the ignition electrode 17, which is connected to the one assignment of the capacitor 15 via the resistor uss, and the electrode 3, which is connected to the other assignment of the capacitor. By arranging the coil 9 in series with the primary coil ii of the transformer io, the choke exerts a control effect on the transformer, so that the current through the primary winding up to minor changes as a result of secondary exposure; remains almost constant. As a result, changes in resistance in the load circuit produce: s of windings 12 and 12; 13 changes in: the voltage on the transformer windings.
