Wie aus der Zeichnung ersichtlich besteht ein Handschuhfutter für einen Handschuh, unabhängig davon, ob es sich um einen Fingerhandschuh gemäß Fig. 1 oder um einen Fäustling gemäß Fig. 2 handelt, aus einem Futteroberteil 1, einem Futterunterteil 2 und einem dünnen Zwischenfutter 3, welches im Bereich der Nähte 4, mit denen das Futteroberteil und das Futterunterteil zusammengenäht sind, mit eingenäht ist. Auf diese Weise entsteht zwischen dem Zwischenfutter 3 und dem Futteroberteil 1 an dessen Unterseite eine Tasche 5, die zur Seite der Einschlupföffnung 6 hin offen ist. Diese Tasche 5 ist beim Fäustling im gesamten oberen Bereich ausgebildet, während sie im Falle des Fingerhandschuhs nach Fig. 1 nur im Bereich des Handrückens ausgebildet ist. Bei dieser Ausgestaltung nach Fig. 1 ist das Zwischenfutter 3 mittels einer weiteren Naht 7 am Futteroberteil befestigt, so daß die Tasche durch die Seitennähte 4 und die vordere Naht 7 begrenzt ist, die sich am Ende des Handrückens unmittelbar vor den Fingern befindet.
