Description

Die vorliegeinde Erfindung betrifft eine Sicherheitsglasplatre gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Anspruches 1.

Glas entwickelt sich entsprechend dem Bedarf für Produkte, die einen wertes* 5e~sich an Farben zusammen «it Mustern von besonderer Schwierigkeit zeigen, beispielsweise durch die Anwendung von Schattierungen o^er feinen Nuancen. Auf der anderen Seite hat die weit verbreitete Verwendung von das und *ie immer ansteigende Vielfalt an Anwendungsgebieten dieses Glases zur Folge, daß neben ästhetischen Anforderungen das Glas Sicherheitsanforderungen genügen muß, insbesondere bei der Verwendung als Fensterscheiben in Gebäuden.
Daher ist die Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung, ein Sicherheitsglas bereitzustellen, das durch die besondere Anordnung seiner Bestandteile es ermöglicht, die Vorteile von Sicherheitsgläsern mit denen verzierter Gläser zu verbinden und das daher nicht nur aus einem ästhetischen Gesichtspunkt wertvoll ist, sondern auch wegen der leichten Sichtbarkeit aus sicherheitstechnischen Gründen.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß gelöst durch die kennzeichnenden Merkmale des Anspruches 1.

Die Sicherheitsglasplatte, gemacht aus zwei
Glasplatten und einer dazwischen gelegenen Schicht aus Polyvinylbutyral (PVB) ist sonst dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß auf de- Polyvinylbutyralschicht ein Muster oder eine Verzierung angebracht ist, vorsagte :.se durch Särmeübertragungsdruck (HTP) Techniken, so daß die ästhetische Wirkung mit i'iner guten Sichtbarkeit des Sicherheitsglases selbst verbunden ist. Eine "Grundiermasse" (primer) ist bevorzugt verwendet, um die Haftung zu unterstützen.
Die Verwendung von Polyvinylbutyral in der erfindungsgemäßen Sicherheitsglas anordnung ist der Tatsache zuzuschreiben, daß diese Substanz besonderen Sicherheitsbestimmungen gerecht wird, insbesondere zur Verwendung in der AutomobiI Industrie, und gute chemische Eigenschaften zeigt, die eine leichte Aufnahmefähigkeit der zu übertragenen Verzierung oder des Musters erlaubt.
Unter den verschiedenen Anwendungsmöglichkeiten der erfindungsgemäßen Sicherheitsglasanordnung ist es möglich, auf die Verwendung in der Hausrat- und Beleuchtungsmast rie, Hauseinrichtungen, z. B. Duschkabinen, in der AutomobiIindustrie, &zgr;. &THgr;. Sonnendächer für Auto u.s.w» hinzuweisen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Verwendung für Fensterscheiben, bei denen die Sieherheitscp.forderungen mit den Anforderungen an die Sichtbarkeit miteinander gekoppelt sein müssen, beispielsweise bti inneren Glastüren mit automatischer öffnung in Eisenbahnwagens. Eine andtre Verwendung liegt 1n dtm Bauwesen, z. B. zur Trennung von Räumen, wobei die Verzierung zur Isolation der Räu«· verwendet werden kenn, während des Sicherheitsglas die StebUität des Systems gewährleistet. auch im Außenbau verwendet werden kann/ wo sie verschiedene funktionen erfüllen.
Was die Dekoration auf der PVB-Platte betrifft/ wird diese Dekoration durch Drucken mittels Wärmeübertragungsdruck (HTP) Techniken ausgeführt/ unter Verwendung von Verfahren die zum Stand der Technik gehören. Die vorerwähnten Techniken wurden bevorzugt bei Abziehbildern und Serigraphien angewendet/ da im FaIi von Abziehbildern ungeachtet der Tatsache/ daß die Übertragung des Musters in nur einem Schritt stattfindet/ eine große Anzahl von Nuancen nicht erhalten werden kann/ während im F*lI von Serigraphien der verfügbare weitere Farbbereich jedoch eine größere Anzahl von Farbanwendungen erfordert/ da die gleichzeitige Übertragung von allen Farben unmöglich ist.
Im Fall der Wärmeübertragungsdrucktechniken (HTP) ist es weiterhin möglich/ die Farben auf große Oberflächen zu übe rt ragen.
Im folgenden ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel anhand von Figur 1 erläutert.
Figur 1 zeigt in schematiseher Darstellung einen seitlichen Schnitt durch eine Anordnung von zwei Sicherheitsglasplatten 1 und 3 und einer dazwischen angeordneten Polyvinylbutyralschicht 2, auf der ein Küster aufgebracht ist.
Selbstverständlich umfaßt der Bereich der vorliegenden Erfindung auch diejenigen Anordnungen, die verschiedenartigen Gebrauch des gleichen erfinderischen Gedankens aachen.

1. Sicher hei tsglas platte aus zwei aufeinander anqeordneten Glasplatten ii, 3) und einer dazwischen angebrachten Polyvinylbutyralschicht (2), und mit einer Verzierung oder einem Muster,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Verzierung oder das Muster auf der Polyvinylbutyralschicht (2) aufgebracht ist.
2. Sicherheitsglas platte nach Anspruch 1,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Verzierung oder das Muster ein Wäreeübertragungsdruck ist.
