Stand der Technik:
In der Augenchirurgie wird innerhalb der "Grauer-Star"Operation der verbleibende
Linsenkapselrest mechanisch poliert.
Hierbei verbleiben stets mikroskopisch kleine proliferationsfähige Epithelzeilex*- und Linsenfaserreste
auf der Linsenkapsel.
Es kommt im hohen Prozentsatz zu einer Nachstarbildung mit Minderung der Linsenkapseltransparent.
Aufgabe und Anwendung;
Durch eine neuartige Hochfrequenzstrom-Behandiung der l^nsenkap^sl mit den beschriebenen Elektrodenivtiiten
-;t?der· eipithelzollen oevitalisiert und
LinsjenfaserreiiC-s denaturiert auch im schlecht zugänglichem
zii klarem K -pselsackbereich.
Zusätzlich kann eine gezielte Teilschrumpfung der
hinteren Kapsel erreicht werden. Dies bewirkt eine Adhäsion zwi^::- _i hinterer Linsenkapsel und
der Rückseite der zu implantierenden Kunststofflinse.
Inkgasamt ist die Nachstarbildung zu verhindern
und eine hohe Kapseltransparenz zu erhalten.
Gestaltung:
Sterilisierbarer runder Kunststoffhandgriff ca.
100 mm lang, ö mm Durchmesser. Zentral durchzogen von zwei isolierten Elektroleitungen.
Am hinteren Ende verbunden mit einer zweipoligen Elektrobuchse. Am vorderen Ende mit ca. 30 mm
langer bipolarer Elektrode mit röhrchenförmiger Außenelektrode (Edelstahl) von 0,6 mm Durchmesser,
mit durchzogener stabförmiger Innenelektrode(oilberdraht)
und trennendem Isolier-.. "·.. mantel (Tevlon) dazwischen.
Neuartig ist die Gestaltung der Elektrodenspitze wobei im querschnitt betrachtet, Außenelektrode,
Isolierung und Innenelektrode halbkreisförmig ausgelegt sind (Zeichnung 3·)
Die Jpitze soll von außen betrachtet etwa halbkugelförmig gestaltet sein.
Dies dient dem schadlosen Gebrauch an der verletzlichen dünnen Linsenkapsel und dem guten
Arbeitskontakt im bogenförmigen Kapselsackbereich. Neben einer geraden Ausführung des Elektroden·1*' '
körpers (Zeichnung 1.) ist eine neue u-förmig gebogene Elektrode erforderlich.(Zeichnung 2.)
Das u-förmige Ende bei gleichem Elektrodentyp soll ca. 3"im breit und 4mm lang sein.
Hierdurch ist ein Zugang ine Auge auch bei kleinem Eröffnungsschnitt möglich. Die semizirkuläre Hälfte
Öffnungsschnittes ist durch die u-förmige Gestaltung der Behandlung zugänglich.

Hochfrequenzstrom-bipolar-ElektrodenstiftKennzeichnender Teil:mil stabförmiger Innen- und ringförmiger Außenelektrode, gekennzeichnet durch die halbkugelförmige Gestaltung der Elek^rodenstiftspitze und in erster Ausführung als u-förmig gebogener, in zweiter Ausführung als gerader Elektrodenstift.
