Warnvorrichtung an Kraftfahrzeugen Die Erfindung hat den Zweck, die Fahrsicherheit von Kraftfahrzeugen bedeutend zu erhöhen. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, daß an der Rückseite des Kraftfahrzeugs eine grüne, eine gelbe und eine rote Lampe angeordnet sind und daß die grüne nur bei Betätigung des Gashebels, die gelbe nur bai Nichtbetätigung des Gashebels und Bremshebels, die rote nur bei Betätigung des Bremshebels, durch Vermittlung eines Schalters, der mit den Hebeln gekuppelt ist, aufleuchtet. Der wesentliche Fortschritt gegenüber dem bisher Bekannten ergibt sich aus folgendem: Fahren zwei Kraftfahrzeuge hintereinander, so kann der hintere Fahrer, vor allem bei Nacht, erst am Aufleuchten des roten Stopplichtes erkennen, daß der vordere Fahrer bremst. Er selbst betätigt also die Bremse erst dann, wenn das vor ihm fahrende Fahrzeug bereits bremst, d. h. wesentlich später als das vor ihm fahrende Fahrzeug, wenn er nicht vorbereitet ist. Durch dieses zu späte Bremsen sind bis auf den heutigen Tag tausende von Unfällen entstanden. Der Sinn der Erfindung ist der, dem rückwärtigen Fahrer wesentlich früher als bisher in Bremsbereitschaft zu versetzen. Dies geschieht folgendermaßen: Sieht der rückwärtige Fahrer an dem vor ihm fahrenden Fahrzeug das grüne Fahrtlicht, so weiß er, daß der vor ihm fahrende Fahrer den Gashebel betätigt, er also unbesorgt ebenfalls hinter dem Fahrzeug herfahren kann. Erlischt plötzlich das grüne Fahrtlicht und es leuchtet die gelbe Warnlampe auf, so weiß er, daß das vor ihm fahrende Fahrzeug eventuell in der nächsten Sekunde schon bremst, er wird also den Fuß von seinem Gaspedal wegnehmen und auf sein Bremspedal setzen. Leuchtet nun am vorderen Fahrzeug das übliche rote Stopp- oder Haltelicht auf, so braucht der hintere Fahrer nur ebenfalls den Fuß, der schon auf seinem Bremspedal ruht, zu betätigen, um sein Fahrzeug ebenfalls zu bremsen.
