Wäschesäcke haben üblicherweise am oberen Ende eine Schnur, mit der sie an einem Wandhaken oder einem Haken in der Zimmerdecke aufgehängt werden können. Das hat den Nachteil, daß vom Benutzer ein solcher Haken in der Wand oder Decke befestigt werden muß, was den Besitz einer Bohrmaschine voraussetzt und handwerklich weniger geschickten Personen Schwierigkeiten macht. Ein weiterer Nachteil der bekannten Wäschesäcke besteht darin, daß sie in hängender Position geschlossen sind.
