Die Erfindung betrifft ein Reinigungsgerät, vorzugsweise zur Reinigung von Fußböden, mit einem Stiel, einer an einem fride des Stiels angeordneten Gabel, mindestens zwei an der Gabel drehbar befestigten Rollen, einem vorzugsweise als Schwamm ausgeführten, eine Befestigungsvorrichtung aufweisenden Reinigungskörper, einer am Stiel vorgesehenen Betätigungsvorrichtung und einem Betätigungselement, wobei der* Reinigungskörper über das Betätigungselement mit der Betätigungsvorrichtung verbunden und mittels der Betätigungsvorrichtung zwischen die Rollen ziehbar und dadurch zusammendrückbar ist.
