Description
Process for the production of, in particular, dental prostheses from polymerizable Plastics The invention relates to a method for producing in particular Dental prostheses made from polymerizable plastics.
The disadvantageous adhering to the synthetic resins used in dental technology Properties such as B. insufficient density and elasticity. can through appropriate Treatment during processing can be significantly reduced, this story especially by pressing the plastic as tightly as possible and the the material entering the polymerization compensates for shrinkage. And. will the prostheses pressed between plaster molds, a material that only holds up to one certain pressure is dimensionally stable. The prostheses, however, require a pressure that if a homogeneous molding compound is to be achieved, it is often less than the shape stability of the plaster of paris. A small error in processing and deformation will occur the plaster of paris, which results in an inaccurately fitting prosthesis, or the synthetic resin is not dense enough, and the appearance and durability of the prosthesis are in Asked a question. With the subsequent automatic or external heat supply initiated polymerisation, plastic is subject to a considerable reduction in volume, so that the dimensions of the fully polymerized prosthesis no longer match the dimensions of the embedded model, so again exact fits become impossible. These disadvantages are eliminated by the method according to the invention in that that according to the invention attached by means of a cuvette used for polymerizing Printing device through one under spring pressure and in the embedding plaster the cuvette guided metal bolts during the pressing process and during the polymerization at the same time plastic material from the guide serving as a mass reservoir -des Bolts to compensate tdes that occur during the press rest and during the polymerization process Shrinkage-pressed into the model hollow form embedded in the cuvette and in doing so Diberdruclc that arises in the plaster of paris is compensated for. The implementation The pressure device used in this process consists of a lower part with the same cuvette connected screw head, a cylinder that can be interlocked on it and one in this attached, under the pressure of a spring piston, which is in the embedding plaster the cuvette.
With the new process, the over.pressure that occurs at Pressing is no longer transferred to the plaster of paris, but from it under spring pressure standing metal bolts intercepted, whereby changes in shape are avoided. -That Additional plastic material is pressed in with the cuvette closed during the pressing process and later during the polymerization at a point in time when the Synthetic resin is subject to shrinkage and is the most suitable due to the heat acting on it Has consistency. Since the tamping and compacting, as has been the case for years, in the Cuvette takes place, only a small amount of material needs to be pushed in, and the amount that the storage container holds is always sufficient. Since the reserve mass Not stored in the metal, but in the poor heat conductor plaster, is premature Hardening of the press deposit made impossible. Since the main compression in the Two-stage pressing has been anticipated, there is no need for external pressurization will. A press control that can be repeated as often as required, as well as a plugging of the mold in several colors have become possible. As the plastic material during of the polymerization process is leioht deformable, the pressure can clip small be inside the cuvette and the resulting waste nozzle is attached to a Place where it can be easily separated from the workpiece, in the case of dentures z. B. at the end of the plate.
Ausfü'hlungsbeispiel The new process can be used in the production a dental prosthesis in the following way: The wax model is, as known, normally or vice versa embedded in the lower part 1 of the special cuvette in such a way that that it comes as close as possible to the bolt 3 protruding into the cuvette.
The connection between the edge of the prosthesis and the metal bolt 3 is through Melting one or two wax strips with lower pieces, if one does not prefer to shave the counter-cast accordingly later. After the Counter-casting and screwing the cuvette by placing a screw on the guide pin 2 If the lid is placed in between, the flask becomes after the plaster of paris has hardened warmed up and opened, freed from wax and, as is known, made ready to be stuffed. before The stopper, however, by turning the stemmed nut 7 clockwise, the bolt 3 withdrawn and the spring 6 tensioned so that ider protruding into the cuvette The bolt is now in the cylinder 5 and only protrudes about 2 mm into the cuvette instead 20 mm. The one caused by the retraction of the metal bolt, which is stored in two parts in the plaster 3 resulting cylindrical cavity is also filled with mass when plugging and forms the mass reservoir. After a superficial first press roll, Idie becomes Close the flask under the press and turn it to the left when the flask is closed the stemmed nut 7 released the pressure on the mass reservoir and with manual pressure support the hollow form further material pushed for the purpose of good compression.
After a corresponding press rest, the stemmed nut 7 is through Turn the piston 3 clockwise to bring it back so that the cuvette can be used for the second pressure control can be opened. This process is repeated until the material to be pressed through its color and the well-known sheen reveals the doneness. As soon as Ida's material is done, every smallest press flag is removed, as well as the cellophane paper, the Counter-cast isolated, the mass reservoir filled with new mass and the cuvette closed and screwed. After screwing, the stem is turned by turning it to the left Nut 7 released the lock against pressure device, so that the metal bolt 3 in the cuvette pressing on the mass reservoir when the plastic material begins to shrink can push further material into the mold, automatically, and both in cold polymerization as well as in liquid bath polymerization od. Like. After the polymerization is completed by right, d, turning the stalk Nut 7 of piston 3 is withdrawn and cylinder 5 with stemmed nut 7, Piston 3, spring 6 unscrewed from threaded head 4. After loosening the nuts from the two guide pins 2 and after lifting the cover IO a blow with Idem Using a wooden hammer, lift out the entire plaster core with the upper part 9 on the base plate 8.
