Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Faltschachtel für zigaretten mit an der Schachtelrückwand angelenktem haubenförmigem Deckel, dessen Vorderwand in Verlängerung der Schachtel-Vorderwand verläuft und der zwei Deckel-Seitenwände aufweist, wobei an das freie Ende der Deckel-Vorderwand eine an deren Innenfläche anlie-^ gende Kopfeinschlaglasche angesetzt ist. Zigaretten werden weltweit entweder in sogenannten Softpacks oder in Hart- bzw. Hingelid-Packungen verpackt. Im letzteren Falle werden die Schachteln aus einem ebenen Zuschnitt gefaltet. Er besitzt in bekannter Weise Ausstanzungen sowie Knick- oder Rillinien und Schnittlinien.
