Description
Schmiermittel Die Erfindung betrifft die Verwendung von noch freie Hydroxylgruppen enthaltenden Estern des Pentaerythrits mit einem Gemisch niedermolekularer Fettsäuren als Schmiermittel. Es ist zwar bekannt, Ester von niedermolekularen Säuren für Schmierzwecke zu verwenden, jedoch stellten sie keine vom Pentaerythrit dar; außerdem hat man sie nur in relativ kleinen Beimengungen zu bekannten Kohlen-Wasserstoffölen hinzugegeben, während der vorliegende Ester für sich allein verwendet werden kann. Der Pentaerythritester weist im Gegensatz zu Schmiermitteln bekannter Konstitution, wie Klauenöl, Kohlenwasserstoffen u. dgl., den Vorteil auf, keine Neigung zur Verharzung oder Polymerisation zu besitzen.
