Eine steife Kappe 10 aus Kunststoff, insbesondere Polyethylen, besteht im wesentlichen aus zwei schmalen parallelen Seitenwänden 11, 12 und einer Endwand 13, die sich zu einer rechtwinkligen U-Form ergänzen und gemeinsam mit zwei Breitwänden 14, 15 einen Kappenkörper bilden, der in Draufsicht und im Querschnitt rechteckig ist. Die Endwand 13 verläuft parallel zu einem geraden offenen Ende 16, in das das vordere Ende eines Skalpells 30 zum Einmalgebrauch eingesteckt wird. Die beiden Breitwände 14 und 15 sowie die beiden Seitenwände 11 und 12 sind so geformt, daß sie einen parallelwandigen flachen Teil 17 im vorderen Bereich, einen Keilabschnitt 18 im Mittelbereich und einen breiten parallelwandigen Teil 19 im hinteren Bereich bilden. Die beiden Teile 17 und 19 schließen sich stufenlos in allmählichem gleichmäßigem Linienverlauf an den Keilabschnitt 18 an und die Durchmesser - gesehen in Richtung 'les kürzeren Kappenquerschnittes - sind den von der Kappe 10 zu umschließenden Bestandteilen des Skalpells 30 angepaßt. Bei diesen Bestandteilen handelt es sich um die Skalpellklinge 31 mit einer angescharften Klingsnschneide 32, die sich bis zu einer Klingenspitze 33 fortsetzt und um das vordere Ende 34 eines Griffstückes 35, das aus darstellungstechnischen Gründen abgebrochen ist.
