Die Erfindung betrifft ein Tennisnetz, dessen seitliche Ränder an fest angeordneten Pfosten befesHgbar sind, so daß das Netz zwischen den Pfosten mit Hilfe eines in einer oberen Schlaufe verlaufenden Spannseiles gespannt werden kann* Die Pfosten sind hierzu üblicherweise im Boden des Tennisplatzes verankert.
