Anhänger für Aufsitzmäher können mit der Erfindung auch ausgestattet werden. Das auf dein Boden befindliche Laub (9) wird über einen Luftstrom, der in der Figur la durch Pfeile gekennzeichnet ist über einen Saugkanal (l) dem Schnittkanal (2) zugeführt. I.n Schnittkanal befindet sich eine beidseitig gelagerte Sechskantwelle (3) mit Distanzscheiben (7)· Auf der Sechskantwelle sitzen ca 20 Stück Schnittmesser (k) um jeweils k5 Grad versetzt. Die Geometrie der Schnittmesser, die Lage der Schneidkanten und die Anordnung der Messer ist in Figur Ib prinzipiell dargestellt. Durch Rotation der Welle, hervorgerufen durch ein Antriebselement (Elektro, Benzin- Diesel- oder Hydromotor) wird das sich im Luftstrom befindliche Laub von den rotierenden, sichelförmigen Messern (Figur Ib) zerkleinert. Das zerkleinerte Laub wird mittels eines Gebläses (5)> das sich zwischen Antriebselement (8) und Messerwerk (k) befindet, zur Auslaßöffnung (6) im Luftstrom transportiert und ausgeblasen. Hier kann es beispielsweise in Säcke abgefüllt werden.
