Beschreibung
Die Neuerung bezieht sich auf ein mit Titan beschichtetes Kiefer- Blattimplantat.
Es ist bekannt Pfostenimplantate im Flammenspri;'>verfaren mit Titan zu beschichten. Die Oberfläche des Implantats wird dadurch stark (bis zu 10 mal) vergrößert und das Implantat sitzt nach dem Einheilen entsprechend fester als ein Implantat ohne Beschichtung.
Die übertragung dieses Beschichtungsverfahrens auf Blattimplantate bringt noch den weiteren Vorteil, daß man zum Einpassen ein unbeschichtetes und deshalb dünneres Implantat als Schablone benutzen kann. Es ergab sich aber, daß sich das die Schicht auf dem Pfostenhals durch Reibung des Ginginalgewebes an der wichtigen Durchtrittsstelle zu Entzündungen führt, die den Verlust des Implantats zur Folgen haben können.
Diese Neuerung löst diese Aufgabe solche Entzündungen zu vermeiden, dadurch, daß der Pfostenhals unbeschichtet bleibt. Dies erleichtert auch das Biegen des Pfostens zum Zwecke der Ausrichtung.
Die Schichtdicke auf der Schulter des Blattkörpers wird dünner gehalten, weil die Insertionskerben erhalten bleiben müssen.

Die Zeichnung zeigt schematisch und teilweise im Schnitt eine bevorzugte Ausführungsform eines Implantats der Neuerung.
In der Zeichnunt ist:
F i g. 1 eine perspektivische Darstellung des Blatiimplantats und
F i g. 2 ein Schnitt durch den Blattkörper.
Mit 2 ist in dieser Zeichnung der mit Titan beschichtete Blattkörper bezeichnet. Die Schicht 3 bedeckt den Blattkörper einschließlich der Durch-» brechungen 8.
Auf der Schulter 7 ist sie dünner* damit die Insertionskerben 6 benutzbar bleiben.
Am Hals 4 des Pfostens 5 aber fehlt sie gemäß der Neuerung.
