The lamellar body of a gas water heater is known to consist of
a multitude of strip or plate-shaped metal sheets (lamellas) spaced apart
pushed from each other onto a plurality of mutually parallel tubes and
are soldered. This creates a body through which the heating gases flow
and give off their heat to the water flowing in the pipes. In the preparation of
Such lamellar bodies, it presents certain difficulties, the ends of the lamellar body
to connect penetrating pipes with the supply and discharge lines and with each other.
When soldering to connecting pieces, mechanical stresses and
Stresses that lead to leaks in the course of use. It has to be there
take into account that the pipe system and the lamellas are under the influence of the
Heating gases expand and work against each other. A major simplification
and cheaper to manufacture and better durability of the lamellar body
arise if, according to the invention, a common, preferably
strip-like connector equipped with corresponding connection openings
provides. Such a common connector makes the soldering operation essential
easier. First all pipe ends are inserted into their corresponding bore
and then soldered to the connector one after the other. Receives through the connector
the pipe system also has greater stability and strength. The connector
as such is easy to manufacture. It can conveniently come from a bar
consist of a number corresponding to the number of tubes at right angles to each other
has lying bores, two of which each form a passage. the
The bar can preferably be made as a hot-pressed part. You can use the connector
also made from a tube that is compressed in several places and on
this way forms separate connecting chambers. A particular advantage
of the common connection piece is that one throttle body at the connection point
can be used to equalize the flow rate in the individual tubes.
If the connecting bores in the connection piece are formed as through holes,
by closure members, z. B. screws, are sealed, it is possible to
to clean the pipes at any time or to replace or adjust the throttle body.
entsteht. In diese Löcher 9, io sind die Rohre i i bzw. Anschlußrohre-12 eingelötet.
Die Durchgangslöcher 9 sind durch eine Schraube 13 abgeschlossen. In die Rohrenden
i i sind Düsen 1.4 eingesetzt. Man kann auch einen einstellbaren Drosselkörper 15
in das Durchgangsloch 9 einschrauben. Nach dem Abnehmen der Schraube 13 können die
Rohre i i bzw. die Düsen 14 oder Drosseln 15 nachgesehen und gereinigt werden. The following are two embodiments of the invention with reference
described in more detail on the drawings. In Figs. I to 3 the slats i,
i ', i "can be seen, which are pushed onto the tubes 2, 2', 2" and soldered. on
the ends of the tubes 2, 2 ', 2 "is fitted with a common connector 3 and
soldered. This, 3, is also made from tube compressed at .4, a ', 4 "
is and thus forms separate connecting chambers 5, 5 ', 5 ". In these
dawn 5, 5 ', 5 ", the connecting pipes 6, 6', 6" are introduced from below or from the side.
The tube 2 ″ is connected to the adjacent tube 7 through the chamber 5 ″. The connecting pipes
6, 6 ', 6 "are led around the outside in a manner not shown in detail or at a
Distributor connected, so that a self-contained pipe system is created.
In the case of the one shown in fig. Q. to 6 shown embodiment is the common
Connection piece from a strip S. In these are on the one hand through holes 9, on the other hand
Blind holes drilled at right angles to this - so that a connection between the two
arises. The pipes i i or connecting pipes 12 are soldered into these holes 9, io.
The through holes 9 are closed by a screw 13. In the pipe ends
i i nozzles 1.4 are used. An adjustable throttle body 15 can also be used
screw into the through hole 9. After removing the screw 13, the
Pipes i i or the nozzles 14 or throttles 15 are checked and cleaned.
