Für manche Nah- rutigsmittel ist es erforderlich, sie mit der Luft in Verbindung zu halten, wenn sie im Kühlschrank untergebracht \verden, Nährend nach dem Heraus- nehmen die Luft abgeschlossen werden muß. Gegenstand der Erfindung ist nun ein Behälter, der als Kasten, Dose, Flasche od. dgl. ausgeführt sein kann und der die i\Iög lichkeit hat, in einfachster Weise den Inhalt entweder von der Luft abzuschlie- ßen oder der Luft zugänglich zu machen. Gemäß der Frlindttng wird (lies dadurch ermöglicht, daß in dem Rand des Behälters Öffnungen angebracht sind, die durch den aufzusetzenden Deckel verschlossen werden können, die aber auch mit der äußeren Luft in Verbindung gesetzt werden können, dadurch, daß der Deckel in einer anderen Lage auf den Behälter aufgesetzt wird. Insbesondere geschieht dies dadurch, daß auch der Rand des Deckels entsprechende Öffnungen besitzt, die in bestimmter Lage des Deckels sich mit den Öffnungen in dem Behälterrand decken, so daß die Luft eintreten kann, während, wenn der Deckel in einer anderen Lage aufgesetzt, also etwa um 9o oder 18o° gedreht wird, die Öffnungen geschlossen sind. Die Öffnungen werden dabei zweckmäßig auf gegenüberliegenden Seiten des Behälters und auch des Deckels angebracht, so daß durch Verdrehung des Deckels beim Auflegen beide Stellungen erreicht werden können. Handelt es sich um einen im Grundriß quadratischen Behälter, so legt man die Öffnungen zweckmäßi- in zwei diametral gegenüberliegende Ecken sowohl des Behälters als auch des Deckels. PATENTANSPRÜCHE: i. Behälter, wie Kasten, Dose, Flasche od, dgl., zum Aufbewahren von Waren aller Art, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß er in seinem Rand Luft- bzw. Entleerungsöffnungen besitzt, die durch Aufsetzen des Deckels in verschiedener Lage geöffnet oder geschlossen werden können. z. Behälter nach Anspruch i. dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Rand des Deckels entsprechende Öffnungen besitzt, die bei bestimmter Lage des Deckels sich mit den Öffnungen in dein Behälterrand decken. 3. Behälter nach Anspruch t und 2. dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Öffnungen im Behälterrand und im Deckelrand diametral einander gegenüber, gegebenenfalls auch in den Ecken liegen. 4. Behälter nach Anspruch t bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß bei runden Behältern die Öffnungen des Deckelrandes und des Behälterrandes durch Drehen des Deckels zur Deckung gebracht werden können. 5. Behälter nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die jeweilige Stellung des Deckels durch eine Sperrvorrichtung, etwa durch Eingreifen eines Vorsprunges in eine von zwei Nuten, festgehalten wird.
