Description

Verfahren zur Herstellung elektrischer Leitungen mit mineralischer Isolierung die der Isolierstoff verdichtet wird. Es ist auch bekannt, die Leiter in dem äußeren Rohr achsparallel auszuspannen und in dieses dann die Isoliermasse in Pulverform einzufüllen. Auch in diesem Fall erfolgt dann in der Regel ein querschnittvermindernder Streckprozeß. Weiter ist auch ein Vorschlag bekanntgeworden, die -pulverförmige Masse mittels einer archimedischen Schraube durch eine Ziehdüse hindurchzupressen,durch die der Leiter zentrisch hindurchgezogen wird, und unmittelbar nach dem Verlassen der Düse einen metallischen Mantel auf sie Isolierung aufzubringen. Dieses Gebilde wird keiner weiteren Behandlung mehr unterworfen. Bei diesem Verfahren muß aber darauf geachtet werden, daß der Mantel unmittelbar nach dem Austritt der Isoliermasse .mit demrLeiter aus eines Metallbandes oder auf andere Weise erfolgen kann. Hierauf wird der Rohling in Strang- oder Ringform gegebenenfalls in mehreren Stufen in einem Anwärm- oder Glühofen getrocknet oder geglüht. Je nach Art und Bestimmung des Rohlings ist die Glühtemperatur und Glühzeit zu wählen. Der Glühl>rozeß hat den Zweck, die Trocknung der keramisclien Isoliermasse zu bewirken. Bei Leitungen, die nur normalen Betriebstetnheraturen ausgesetzt «erden, genügt unter Umständen eine Trocknungstemperatur von etwa 200° C. Dagegen müssen Rohlinge, die zur Herstellung von Leitungen dienen, die höheren Betriebstemperaturen ausgesetzt werden sollen, wie 1ieisl>ielsweise Heizelemente od. dgl., bei wesentlich höheren Temperaturen bis zu etwa goo° C geglüht werden, um alle in der mineralischen Isoliermasse vorhandenen flüchtigen Bestandteile möglichst restlos zu beseitigen.
