Description

Process for the recovery of solvents in dry spinning The recovery of the solvents is in the dry spinning process of essential economic importance. This is usually done in technology in such a way that the shielded spinning shaft emerges from the spinning shower in Gien Threads are dried with hot air in countercurrent or cocurrent. The air becomes one Recovery system fed in, warmed up and then returned to the spinning shaft. Preferably the circulating dry air is used for solvent recovery leads, adjusted so that the spinning shaft has a negative pressure in order to avoid that with the suction created by the thread, which is usually drawn off at great speed, As little solvent vapors as possible are dragged out. Despite this and others Measures do not succeed in completely avoiding solvent losses.

It has now been found that the escape of the Prevent solvents from being released into the open and recover them practically completely, when you get into the spinning shaft where there is already an external solidification of the thread enters, introduces finely divided water. This is expediently done through application of adjustable nozzles so that the drops get the most advantageous size. Are if they are too small, they will be carried away, but if they are too big, it will wash out of Insufficient solvent in the shaft from the circulating dry air.

According to the method according to the invention, a large part can already be used the solvent in the spinning shaft itself can be recovered, so that the actual Recovery plant relieved and therefore kept smaller and cheaper can. The solvent still contained in the thread after it has emerged from the spinning shaft can be recovered from the water used when it is wet-cut.
