Hierdurch wird im wesentlichen lediglich eine punktartige Festklemmung der Zentralsäule erzielt, die unbefriedigend ist und sehr oft eine ungewollte Verschiebung der Zentralsäule mit sich bringt. Diese Nachteile werden erfindungsgemäß dadurch vermieden, daß der zur gelenkigen Befestigung der Stativbeine dienende Hauptträger, in dessen mittlerer Bohrung die vertikal bewegliche Zentralsäule liegt, parallel zur Achse der Bohrung geschlitzt ausgebildet ist und zur Klemmung der Zentralsäule dient. In weiterer Ausgestaltung nach dem Erfindungsgedanken ist der Hauptträger über die ganze Höhe seiner mittleren Bohrung aufgeschnitten.
