Das neue Walzwerk dient dazu, bei jeder Umdrehung eine Blechtafel mit einer Anzahl fertig eingewalzter Wellen zu versehen. Das Einwalzen der Wellen geschieht zwischen je zwei Profilstäben, zwischen welche ein Profilstab mit einem der Dicke des Bleches entsprechenden Spielraum eingreift, um die Blechtafel auf der ganzen Breite einzubiegen. Zu diesem Zweck ist der Umfang zweier walzenförmigen Trommeln α und b aus einzelnen Profilstäben c gebildet, die in geeigneter Weise an Scheiben d befestigt sind. Im vorliegenden Beispiel sind die Profilstäbe mittelst Bänder c mit den Scheiben d verbunden. Die beiden Trommeln sind so zu einander eingestellt, dafs die Profilstäbe zahnartig in einander greifen, wie aus Fig. 1 ersichtlich ist. Das zu wellende Blech wird von links her zwischen die Walzen bis zum Anschlagwinkel i geschoben, welcher den nöthigen Gegenhalt gewährt, damit das Blech sich während der Erzeugung der Wellen nicht bewegen kann. Die Scheiben d bestehen aus einer auf der Achse fest aufgekeilten Nabe und auswechselbar auf ihr befestigten Segmenten f, so dafs die Maschine durch Anbringung von Segmenten mit anderer THeilung und anderen Profilstangen zum Walzen von Wellblech verschiedenen Profiles benutzt werden kann. Die Profilstäbe können aus massiven Stäben oder, wie in der Zeichnung dargestellt, aus Rohren gebildet sein. Der Antrieb der Trommeln erfolgt in üblicher Weise mittelst Zahnräder g h und eines nicht dargestellten Vorgeleges. .
