Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Stielbefestigung für Besen, Schrubber
und ähnliche Reinigungsgeräte. Die dauernde sichere Befestigung des Stieles im Bürstenholz
eines Besens oder Schrubbers ist bisher nicht in voll befriedigender Weise möglich
gewesen. Das liegt im wesentlichen daran, daß die Haftflächensitze zwischen Bürstenholz
und Stiel zu kurz sind und dadurch keine ausreichende Befestigung möglich ist, die
den starken Beanspruchungen infolge der wechselnd wirkenden Kräfte auf die Dauer
gewachsen ist. Auch mit allen bis jetzt zur Anwendung gekommenen Hilfsmitteln, z.
B. Klammern, ist der beabsichtigte Zweck nicht erreicht worden. Während bei der
bekannten Ausführung zur Erzielung eines einigermaßen tiefen Einsteckloches für
den Stiel ein besonderes Deckelholz erforderlich ist, kann dieses bei Verwendung
der erfindungsgemäßen Stielbefestigung wegfallen. Das Bürstenholz wird unmittelbar
von zwei seitlich an diesem angreifenden Pratzen erfaßt, die mit dem Aufnahmestutzen
für den Stiel verbunden sind und von denen die eine beweglich angeordnet ist und
mittels einer Schraube in Parallelführung gegen die fest stehende Pratze verschoben

Die neue Stielbefestigung ist in der Zeichnung in einem Ausführungsbeispiel

greifender Gußteil mit der angegossenen Pratze 3 und dem ebenfalls angegossenen
Rohrstutzen 4, der innen mit konischem Gewinde versehen ist. Die Pratze 5 ist beweglich
angeordnet; sie wird im vorderen gewölbten Teil des Gußstückes 2 (Abb. 3) durch
den zylindrischen Teil der Schraubenspindel 6 geführt. Mit dem Gewindeteil sitzt
die Schraubenspindel in dem Quersteg 7 des Gußteiles 2. Die Drehung der Schraubenspindel
6 erfolgt über die fest auf ihr angebrachte Flügelmutter B. An den Pratzen 3 und

verbunden. Diese sichere Verbindung kann aber zwecks Auswechseln des Besens nach
völliger oder teilweiser Abnutzung der Borsten ebenso schnell wieder gelöst werden,
und zwar durch Verdrehen der Flügelmutter und dadurch bewirktes Zurückschieben der
