Fig. ι zeigt die Ansicht des Blumentopfes von vorn, Fig. 2 den verticalen Schnitt durch
die Achse und Fig. 3 eine Ansicht von oben. Der Blumentopf besteht aus dem Topf α, dem
Untersatz b und drei, vier, fünf, oder je nach Gröfse mehr, eingesetzten Kanälen c, welche halbrunden,
wie Fig. 3 und 5 zeigen, rechteckigen, dreieckigen oder wellenförmigen,' wie Fig. 6, 7
und 8 zeigen, Querschnitt haben und auf der ganzen Mantelfläche für die Circulation der
Luft mit Löchern versehen sind. Der Untersatz b trägt entweder erhöhte Rippen d (Fig. 2
und 3) oder er hat einen flachen Boden; im ersteren Falle erhält der Topf α (Fig. 2 und J3)
Luftlöcher e im Boden, im letzteren Falle befinden sich die Luftlöcher f (Fig. 4) im Mantel

dieser Kanäle bilden, die mit Oeffnungen (ef) im Boden oder in der Seitenwand des Topfes
