Description
Arrangement for receiving a pulse frequency There are telemetry devices known, in which the measured variable to be transmitted by direct current pulses is more appropriate Frequency is simulated, with these pulses alternating on the receiving side Control the charging and discharging of a capacitor with a DC current meter connected is. The relay used to control the capacitor is substantial Exposed to stresses, which results from the fact that at = o pulses per second 864,000 switchings are to be carried out within a twenty-four hour day. This means a considerable mechanical stress for the contact springs, and in addition there is also the stress on the contacts by the hardly ever complete opening sparks to be avoided.
Another known device of this type is designed so that by means of a non-running transmitter collector, direct current pulses corresponding to the measured value Frequency are generated. These pulses are on the receiving side of a choke and fed to a display instrument connected in series with it. In this form the arrangement does not have a receiving relay, however. likely with practical execution and a receiving relay must be unavoidable, especially with longer cable lengths, so that no advantage is obtained in this regard. But it also has this Arrangement the defect that the current in the winding of the choke coil the smaller the higher the pulse frequency increases. So there are special measuring devices too required for this purpose. In a further development of such an arrangement to use an electromagnetic instrument as a display device, the has two differentially connected windings, one of which is in series with the mentioned choke coil is switched and the pulse current flows through it, while the second winding is directly connected to the supply voltage. By a Although such a training can produce the desired frequency dependency of the display be, however, then is another Pipeline required that increases the effort considerably.
The object of the invention is to design a receiving circuit, in the case of relays and relay contacts are avoided, furthermore with only two telemetry lines and also avoids the capacitor recharging principle. Furthermore, a flawless Frequency dependence of the display must be guaranteed. This task is performed according to the Invention achieved by combining the following features: a) It is an input amplifier present, the. the pulse frequency transmitted by means of alternating current directly is supplied and its pulsed output voltage through a control element is constantly split.
The output voltage becomes one of a frequency-dependent resistor and fed to a rectifier existing converter element, which is thus one of DC voltage dependent on the pulse frequency is taken.
The DC voltage is a measuring device, possibly via a Compensation amplifier supplied.
With this arrangement, the deleterious effects of direct current transmission are with regard to the resulting pulse distortion and falsification of the energy content every single impulse avoided. Suffice it to say the incoming alternating current quantity keep constant with regard to their amplitude, and then can immediately without special additional facilities a frequency-dependent resistor for measurement to be used. The arrangement avoids special according to the task at hand Receiving relay and therefore works without mechanical contacts.
An embodiment of the invention is shown schematically in the figure. A pulse frequency arrives via the lines a, b , which is linearly dependent on the measured value to be transmitted. This pulse frequency is fed to the input amplifier i. The output voltage of the amplifier is - by a control element q. controlled, and this acts on the gain factor in .dem a sense that the output voltage of the amplifier i is kept constant. At the input of the converter element 2 there is therefore a constant alternating voltage, the pulse frequency of which is linearly dependent on the iNIeßwert. The converter element 2 consists essentially of a frequency-dependent resistor, a constant resistor for tapping the voltage drop and a rectifier. The constant resistance can also be omitted depending on the type of measurement. A direct voltage is thus taken from the converter element 2, which is clearly dependent on the pulse frequency. The direct voltage is advantageously fed to a compensation amplifier 3 of suitable design. In the output circuit of the compensation amplifier can. Depending on the circuit and intended use, an impressed current or an impressed voltage can be generated. The use of an impressed voltage is particularly suitable for summing devices. An impressed current will be used if there is a longer line behind the compensation amplifier 3 and you want to be independent of changes in the resistance of this line.
The control element 4. can for example consist of a moving coil system, which controls the exposure of a photocell by means of a diaphragm and thus the grid prestress of the amplifier i changes. In another embodiment, the control member includes a choke whose bias depends on the output voltage of the Amplifier i is changed. In this case too, it is expedient to become dependent change the grid bias of amplifier i by changing the bias.
